Huge media kerfuffle yesterday about her trying to call Desantis about the hurricane,
On two different film clips (one leaving Charlotte, another at Andrews) the USAF airmen are standing at attention with salutes. I've never seen that for a VP before.

There’s no way that she or Joe is actually in charge. That is scary as all hell that we have no idea who is actually President right now.

The VP is saluted all the time. That's not a big deal. But I have noticed in every interview she does now they call it "her administration." Not the Biden administration or the Biden/Harris administration. They have made a sitting president vanish into thin air.

No she’s not, her campaign is terrified of people seeing her in the actual role of president. She needs ambiguity of being something new. Any other President would allow their VP to take their reigns to show what their leadership would be. They know she cant handle it so they are keeping her far away. We don’t have a president and we haven’t had one for 4 years.

It is an odd juxtaposition. The media is trying to simultaneously depict that she is fully in charge as "President" now...Yet in the same breath tell you she had absolutely zero blame/responsibility for the last 4 years.
Also, them kicking the actual sitting president aside shows they don't actually care who the POTUS is. Biden, Harris, or anyone else not named Obama, it doesn't matter. They aren't seen as actually being in charge of anything. Just empty suit figureheads.
The political class, Republican and Democrats alike, DESPISE Trump. The reason is because for better or worse he's never been just an empty figurehead. He demands to be in charge and call the shots.

Really? I can't ever recall seeing it.
I know the president, as commander in chief, outranks all other military ranks and is due the salute.
What garners a salute for a VP? Respect for the office? VP holds no military ranking capacity that I know of.
