I know which ones I’m voting no on but damn there’s a couple that I am truly unsure of how to vote bc the language is not clear cut. Which is intentional I know.

I’ve read and studied as much as I could find but still undecided.

ETA… I’ve spent hours studying and talking to staunch limited govt conservatives

Yes on 1, 5, 8

They almost tricked me on 5 bc I was voting no but voting yes mean they no longer have to use the maximum millages every 4 yrs.

vote no on all of them, even the few that sound like they are well intended are just another means at grabbing more money and power

Amending the state constitution is a poor way to enact changes to the law.

Voted no on all of them.

The best thing to do is read them very carefully and try to make sense out of them.

Voting No without knowing what your no vote is actually doing is not a good strategy. They know this.

NOs all the way down the board for me. Glad to see that is the consensus so far.

Side note: Why is the state voting on something that Orleans Parish themselves should be voting on?

You’ve got it backwards. Never vote for something if you aren’t certain of what it is. They know some people will make an uninformed vote based on the banner on the voting machine. It’s how they get a lousy law passed without any responsibility on the legislators.

No on everything except #4 (about water). Why are y’all voting no on 4?

Huh? So they know that voting no is not a good strategy? That doesn't even make sense.

It usually annoys me that people simply vote no to all so often, but no to all isn't too bad this time.

Which ones are you having problems with?

Pretty much the approach I've taken of late.

Damn this state.

I am typically with you, but we have 1 here in GA that would suspend pay for most elected officials who are suspended from their position after being indicted on a felony. So I will be voting yes for that one

To all of you voting no… the politicians thank you bc they want you to think you’re opposing something and your no vote just allows it

Personally I think that there’s too much room somehow someway for them taking advantage of this. Idk how but they’ll find a way.

When people talk about uninformed voters, they mean every person who votes straight no because they think it somehow rejects the government enacting new laws. For some of these amendments, a yes vote is what prevents government overreach and arbitrary lawmaking. Do your research folks.

This 100%. I couldn't agree more and always vote no across the board on constitutional amendments.
