Nah it doesn’t. The bloat shouldn’t have been hired in the first place. Not to mention they are whining they have to actually come to work now

Not sure wtf is going on at the IRS, but I filed my return on Monday and got my return on Thursday. I've never heard of it hitting your bank account so fast.

Why not unleash the IRS on illegals who aren’t paying any taxes.

And the employers paying them in cash under the table.

The IRS has no clue about expenses and deductions for businesses. Lmao.

You guys are slashing and burning and defunding the Service but just want “AI” to do everything.

MAGA is not serious example 1245.

Do away with income tax and just incorporate a consumption tax. Problem solved.

Some kind of simplified flat tax and you don’t need more than a few hundred.

We don't even need that. Just implement a national consumption tax and be done with it.

Genuine question, why does the IRS have so many people working for it? Is it simply for audits?

I know the 88k Biden wanted were to audit and target people, but is the rest of the IRS process/operations that manual?

Hell they should be able to get to a point where anything an audit would catch is flagged during submission for immediate correction.

I am a former CPA, and do my own taxes. I use Turbo Tax every year, and they pretty much do this with the flags while you are completing your taxes. They do this because they offer the service of representing you if you were to be audited, if you pay for that service, which I do. So, using an organization like Turbo Tax lowers the risk of being audited, significantly.

Good fracking luck getting Congress to give up power

The good reason: to collect taxes

The real reason: to have the power to pick the winners and losers....and make a lot of personal change on the side

A flat or VAT tax would capture all the private jobs, the illegal alien cash, we would be awash in money with no burden on the middle class......but then we all know that dont we.

The argument has always been.....a flat tax puts an unfair burden on the poor........then why do you tax fuel????????????

Oh the IRS does mining all right, they send out letters carte blanche "accusing" you of some act and its up to you to prove you didnt do.......what is right there on one of the forms you submitted.

Hoping you will settle for something you did not owe.
