I'll retract that if anything actually pops off but until then it's just histrionics. 40 days ago the mainstream media was assuring me that we would have boots on the ground in Venezuela within days.
Turn off the news and the podcasters and just look around. Things become more clear when you're not being propagandized and gaslit from umpteen directions.

So destabize a volatile region some more? I'm not sure having 80 million in utter chaos is good for anyone. We have no idea who the other players are in Iran, if there are any organized resistance at all. Until you know a possible alternative, removing an enemy you know is not good policy.

Iran wants to destroy the World, read up on the 12 Imam. Normally, people want nuclear weapons for defense, but Iran want to use them to welcome the 12th imam ( Mahdi). They want an end of the world event to bring their mahdi back, just google or research this if you aren’t familiar with their beliefs

I disagree with your premise and your conclusion, FTR. Not all international conflicts are Iraq circa 2006. And not all regime changes are disasters. In fact, many bring about lasting peace. But look I get it-Fortress America believes the status quo is safety. It's not. But the Mullahs-who have a 50-year history of nothing, but death and misery need to go. Without a single doubt in my mind. But hey, that's why we have bookmarks, right?

We really don't have a great record in that part of the world. This is not a banana republic. It's a large nation of 80 million people with oil and some level of technological sophistication beyond what Iraq had.
