Want to believe it. Currency collapse though is no small matter...this ain't China where the currency has long been a matter of whomever is in charge opinion.

Women in Iran used to wear make up and miniskirts under the Shah. These young girls today are pissed seeing pics of what Grandma was allowed to show off.

As heavily armed as we are as a country, neither the police nor military could control us. It would be horrific. If it got as bad here as it is in Iran and other parts of the world, it would go from protests to guerilla warfare with a quickness.

Yeah, you need opposing guns. Military has them. If I'm not incorrect, there is the armed forces and then the revolutionary guard. The IRGC are the bad dudes. It's possible the army dislikes them.

I had heard 2-3 months ago that things in Iran were "shaky," but I just had a hard time believing it. Most of those Persians never wanted a radical Islamic regime, though.
