Yeah that’s why there was an uprising in January against the regime. Then Trump said “If they start shooting, I’m gonna start shooting.” Well they started shooting and Trump sat on his hands for months. The regime killed conservatively 30k people. Then when Trump did finally act he half assed it. This was has been more mismanaged by politicians in DC than even Vietnam was.

This administration has done everything in its power to not win this war. I supported the war at the outset. But it’s very clear that Trump doesn’t have the balls to do what it takes to win. At this point he’s just hoping to get back to the previous status quo and call it a win. The US has accomplished exactly zero of its stated political goals for the war.

Keep the pressure on the IRGC Regime until it is swept away by a violent revolution.
That should be our grand strategy vs Iran. We need to engineer and manage that revolution to make sure that the New Govt is a restoration of the Shah's government in the form of a parliamentary monarchy.
