LOL how many times has Trump started a war during the past three years? It's hilarious even projecting a regional war from one strike. Muh North Korea, Muh China, muh Syria, muh Iran like three three times, muh Trump has his hands on the nukes. My God I'm so sick if following this stuff because of all the noise you have to filter out.

The language being used in Arab media to describe the deaths of Qassem Soleimani, commander of Iran’s Quds force, and Abu Mahdi Mohandis, in Iraq is "assassination." We may now be crossing the rubicon into a geopolitical crisis.

You assassinate a motherfricker with a rifle. Those goathumpers got vaporized.

The French and the British are unlikely to have joined us.

The IAF is preparing for a potential war with Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Unless we get involved, they would lose that war. They can’t defeat Hezbollah in conventional fight, and Hezbollahs missile forces would inflict crippling damage on Israel. The human and economic cost would be grave.

The Syrian war has produced battle-ready Shia brigades from pretty much every place where Shia live. The scale of a possible conflict will be extremely large, if it does occur.

The Iranians are extremely pragmatic, and will no doubt weigh the blowback from directly targeting the US. And in truth, their response might not be immediate if they seek a target that was equal to Soleimani in symbolism.

The Iranians are usually pragmatic and measured in how they achieve their regional aims as well as how they foster alliances. Their proxies have lots of leeway to act independently of direct oversight, and generally they practice better opsec than this. Which makes it possible that Soleimani was setup.
