Plus she and McGuire briefed the HSIC before they ever briefed the White House. This is completely inexcusable and they both need to be immediately fired!

Shelby Pierson got her arse called out by Richard Grenell and now she’s trying to walk it back.

let's rewind to 3 days ago..

quote:

President Trump erupted at acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Joseph Maguire in a meeting last week over concerns about Maguire's staff's loyalty, The Washington Post reported on Thursday.

The reported incident occurred shortly before Trump announced on Wednesday Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell would take over from Maguire as the acting intelligence chief.

Trump decided against nominating Maguire for the post on a permanent basis after learning a member of his staff, Shelby Pierson, gave a classified briefing last Thursday to the House Intelligence Committee regarding election security, the newspaper reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

The specific contents of Pierson’s briefing are unknown, but Trump appeared to believe she had given information specifically to Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) that would be beneficial to Democrats if made public, the people familiar with the matter told the Post.

Trump was furious and held Maguire personally responsible when the two next met, the Post reported, resulting in a “dressing down” by the president and which served as “the catalyst” for Trump ultimately opting to appoint Grenell.

A committee official told the Post the briefing concerned “election security and foreign interference in the run-up to the 2020 election,” speaking on condition of anonymity.

“Members on both sides participated, including Ranking Member [Devin] Nunes [R-Calif.], and heard the exact same briefing from experts across the Intelligence Community,” the committee official said. “No special or separate briefing was provided to one side or to any single member, including the chairman.”

Pierson was initially appointed in 2019 by then-DNI Dan Coats, who departed the White House the same year, and had frequently disagreed with the president on the extent of Russian meddling in the 2016 election and the threat of future interference.

Washington(CNN) The US intelligence community's top election security official appears to have overstated the intelligence community's formal assessment of Russian interference in the 2020 election, omitting important nuance during a briefing with lawmakers earlier this month, three national security officials told CNN.

The official, Shelby Pierson, told lawmakers on the House Intelligence Committee that Russia is interfering in the 2020 election with the goal of helping President Donald Trump get reelected.

The US intelligence community has assessed that Russia is interfering in the 2020 election and has separately assessed that Russia views Trump as a leader they can work with. But the US does not have evidence that Russia's interference this cycle is aimed at reelecting Trump, the officials said.
Judging by Brennan's tweet a few days ago. Their plan was foiled.

Every US President wants to work well with foreign leaders. This Russia boogie-man garbage has to stop.

And the turmoil is caused by your democrats, asswipe.

Fake investigations
Political impeachment
Sky screaming at everything

How about look at the record and what he is up against every single day.

Dems could work with him and he would probably pass legislation that they wished they could pass under Obama. But oh no, OMB, f America, even if it is something we have wanted for years, is Dems won’t support it now.

Bunch of liars and losers.

because the fricking democrats cannot handle losing an election

Take away a two year old's binky and you will have "turmoil".

Bloomberg has ads about how he is going to "unite us" when he imposes all the left wing shite he is espousing, guess we cannot be "united" with any conservative values in place. That is beyond offebnsive.

The only way progressives like texashorn will accept “unity” is if everyone acquiesces to his and only his position.

If you have an opinion or stance counter to his progressive ideals, unity is out of the question.

Hell, they couldn’t even accept an election.

They can’t tolerate the existence of conservatives at all and then have the nerve to say that conservatives are the reason for disunity.

Conservatives weren’t the ones disowning family after an election.

Conservatives weren’t calling for anti-free speech legislation.

Conservatives don’t riot when speakers who have opposing political stances are talking in order to shut them down.

Progressives try their hardest to attribute their own faults to everyone else.

Surely, Scruffy is smart enough to not say that texashorn is a progressive because texashorn (correctly) states that Trump has caused the loyal opposition to lose its mind in unprecedented fashion.

texashorn is disappointed in Scruffy.

I’m calling you a progressive because you are laying the blame on Trump when the progressive base is fully to blame.

It wouldn’t have mattered who won the last election from the Republican side.

This is how progressives act.

How do you gather from this that I blame Trump?

Do you expect the left to acquiesce after November’s election?

Do you think a Mitt Romney could make them lose their minds as much as Trump has? You’re being dishonest for the sake of convenience.
