I’m upper middle class, $250k+ including my wife’s salary, 4 kids and live in NYC. We don’t need it, shut the frick up if you are making 75k single or 150k married and don’t have money saved for shite like this, you’re an idiot. Give the money to people that actually need it and quit bitching.

Upper middle class status is highly dependent on where you live. $100k in rural MS is upper middle class for a family. $100k in DC is not even middle class for a family.

Depends on where you live. 150k in shreveport you can live a upper middle class lifestyle.

Nearly every available source has upper middle defined as 122k-180k

You’re a liar

Nobody long in NYC is saving anything if you’re just making $250,000

That’s nothing there

Once again a lot of this money will go to people who will blow it as opposed to invest it.

I will be using my corona cash to finish the remodel on my home. cases of corona have been detrimental to its completion. So now I can just pay someone to finish it. Instead of me drinking a case of corona and not doing anything.

This is a little different.

I’m ok with lower and moderate incomes having straight cash.

I do think dividend taxes should be suspended.
Also capital gains should be reduced.

It’s AGI of $75k / $150k

Also, it’s $1200 / $2400 and $500 per child

For every $100 over the cap subtract $5 from your check

We are close to that limit, not sure where we were at in 2018 but I imagine we were under and qualify.

I’m not going to lose my job, I will prob need to take some PTO. I know others could use it more. I will have significant business losses that their is no relief available for but I think I am a rare case that I’m both employed and a partner in a business.

It would have been nice if they would have targeted certain individuals and businesses that are impacted the most. Somebody making $200k normally that isn’t making shite right now could easily hurt just as bad as someone making $50k. Small businesses aren’t going to be able to pay people. People that didn’t have any income in the first place won’t be severely affected.

It’s just too huge of a sum of money to be strictly based off income limits.

It’s also based off 2018, bit of you didn’t file for 2018 and did in 2019 they will use that. Minimum check is 600, which I think everyone will get no matter income.

I find that quite humorous also. Someone single in California making 80-100k at a Bay Area company is poor as shite and probably needs help also. They get nothing in this plan.

I have an uncle who lives near San Fran. Works for a big company. Probably makes a little over 100k. They’re probably a good half step from a trailer.

Give it to the homeless, they are good people in a temporary bad situation. Some (most) of these charities you hear about are scams.
