So let me get this straight... Big companies will get bailed out, while small businesses are likely to get nothing. And those making less than $150K (couple) or $75K (individual) get $1k/adult and $500/kid, but the upper middle class gets nothing? What a crock of sh*t! Once again a lot of this money will go to people who will blow it as opposed to invest it. Your fine government at work (including "Republicans")!

I'm not super pumped about it... especially considering I've got to pay the government over 1K in taxes in a month or so.

That is what the point of it is...to spend and not save. Saving doesn't help.

Is that taxable income or gross, and based on filing status?

So welfare recipients, kids, and those that barely contribute via tax dollars will get $1000 of my money, meanwhile i still have to pay 25-30% of what i earn to the fedgov?

Personally, I’m more concerned with chloroquine being readily available than I am with a gubment handout.

Pretty sure the point was to help out with bills/mortgages. Not give it to people who live in government housing, or in mommy and daddy's house.

Rand Paul is correct, this should be tied to unemployment and small business loans.

You obviously aren't good at subtle clues. Look at what I paid in taxes. I'm still living high on the hog. Coronafree and enjoying it!

You’re probably wrong. It will most likely decrease gradually after the income limits.

The idea is to compensate people in the service industry, who the government is mandating to close.

Combined income of both wife and I, is above average median household income... but we're far from upper middle class.

I'm not going to "blow" it, or "invest" it. shite's gonna be used to pay off a loan and free up $250/mo. That's a problem? Gives me more monthly money to help stimulate the economy more in the long run.
