This is actually pretty scary. Any time you take to vilifying your political rivals to that degree, you very quickly start down the path of the ends justify the means. It starts with trying to silence them through ostracizing them but when that doesn’t work you get more and more extreme. Eventually you reach the point where killing them is justifiable because of the false moral high ground you’ve given yourself..
