In some ways, the GOP is more dangerous than the Democrats

Reason being, we can at least see who the Democrats really are, and fight that the directly and head on. But the GOP, specifically the establishment GOP (which makes up about 3/4 of all elected Republicans whether it be federal or state level), is only there to gate keep real conservatives and give us political morphine. Democrats are Jeffery Dahmer, but the Republicans are Dr. Kovorkian. They are here to manage the decline in dignity, call it hospice conservatism.
This is partly why they will throw a few bones out every once in a while, like this RvW thing. You might also get some firery rant by some Senator about some issue that really doesn't matter, but not a peep about real issues, because when it comes time to get in line and fleece another 40 billion from US citizens, they all get in line.

No way, the GOP always looks out for us. Republicans good, Democrats bad. They just sided with Democrats to send 40 billion more to Ukraine. I’m not sure how it helps us but I’m sure it does.

Ron Paul identified the enemy years ago. The fed.
As long as armies of lobbyists can elect politicians to "vote" them pork in defense, farm, foreign aid or other spending bills, you will never be able to trust ANY politician completely. Term limits would help a little, but basically never let an incumbent get comfortable in DC.

We don't have an intelligent enough population to do anything about it. 95% of people don't really understand it or how it affects almost all of policy whether it be federal or state.

I’m a conservative, and an individualist. Politically I’m a realist.
1) There are only two real political parties, Republican and Democrat.
2) If you vote for a fringe party, you actually vote for your least favorite party. Examples: if you vote Green you weaken the Dems and aid the GOP, and if you vote libertarian you weaken the GOP and aid the Dems. Real example, if you voted for Ross Perot, you helped elect Bill “#metoo” Clinton. And if your great great granddaddy voted for Teddy Roosevelt he helped elect Woodrow Wilson.
3) I disagree with 95% of what Dems say and do.
4) I agree with 80% of what GOP says, and about 65% of what they do.
5) I’m a registered Republican, but I am not a Republican. I do not donate to the Republican Party. I fund individual causes and politicians.

Right, the Rinos will pretend to be conservative to get your vote. They represent the big money that funds their campaigns and they get to share in the profits.

First, whose "reality" does your realism come from? That realism never would have allowed Donald Trump to win the primary, much less the general.
Secondly, if your vote is already freely given away to some hazy arithmetic of "lesser evil", you've already lost. The entire Tea Party went down in flames from the realization their movement resulted in the likes of Paul Ryan and Marco Rubio.
If anything is going to change for the better, the power of the "two party system" has to be destroyed. As long as the GOP is seen as our only hope, we're just going to keep getting kicked around. Where has the republican party been on electoral fraud? Where have they been on Hunter Biden's pay for play treason? Where have they been on Supreme Court justices being trapped in their own homes after being doxxed to terrorist groups? Where were they when Trump was trying to battle illegal immigration? Pass a budget? Anything?
Yet they can hand off 40 bill to Ukraine without blinking or pass leftist-heavy omnibus spending bills without a thought. If you play the game their way, you lose.

You force your second favorite party to change.
The problem is. There is only one party.
Cassidy and the rest of the Rinos deserve to get booted.
I'd even vote Democrat before Cassidy to force his arse out.
The R's need a come to Jesus moment to get back on track.

I think it's been common knowledge for decades that there are two major political parties in name only, those two parties have operated as a single entity more often than not at the ire of their constituents........said differently, when you take a detailed look at their voting records 75% of Congress and the Senate are more Uniparty than they are separate political parties.

Choosing between GOP and Dems is like choosing to take Hemlock or Cyanide...One might kill you and the other one will kill you.
There was a time when Dem's were patriotic people standing up for the "little man"..now they are cult-like fanatics..

Well, AUCom96 we appear to be sparring a great deal this morning. The funniest aspect of this is that we probably agree a great deal on the important issues.
Here’s the reality. Only one American election was held under the Constitution without 2 parties, the first. It was held with zero parties. Under President Washington’s first Administration, his cabinet and congress split into two factions or parties. Washington like you hated the two party system, and like you he was powerless to prevent it. Our Constitution prevents a parliamentary government where multiple parties form a coalition government. Our system forms two competing coalition parties that govern from a winner take all election system of every 2, 4, and 6 year cycle.
Like it or not, this is the reality of the American Constitution.
The Trump victory only resulted because Trump embraced the two party reality! He ran as a Republican, not as a third party wastrel like Perot! If he had run in a third party, he would have split the right of center electoral votes with the GOP candidate, and Hillary Clinton would have been president!

A Republican majority is meaningless if a significant number of those Republicans are RINOs or GOPe.
The Republican Party must be changed and it will be a process. Steps have been made. Now, more steps have to be made.
Primary RINOs and GOPe. Vote for America First candidates. If they lose sight of why they went to DC or lie to get elected, actively vote against them.
The entire Republican Leadership in both the House and the Senate needs to be replaced. That can only happen by changing the party from the ground up, with wave after wave of new, better, America First candidates.

I didn't know members of Congress drafted that opinion.

All of it. An illusion. Our so-called Union-of-States is an illusion. Our voting system is an illusion. On Wednesday, November 4th at approximately 4:00 am we lost our Constitutional Republic. Unquestionably the 2020 Presidental Election was stolen.
You can plow ahead as usual. You can argue that those who question the results of the 2020 election are just wrong. But the fact remains, that election was stolen.
There is nothing more fundamental to the practice of freedom than voting. It is where we (the grunts) the people who pay the taxes, the people who send our sons (and daughters) to die to preserve and protect this union, express our rights. One person, one vote, with proper ID, executed in person at his/her designated precinct. That's how it was always done. That's how it should be done—the only secure, honest, verifiable way to guarantee the authenticity of that individual's vote. In many states, that process was abandoned, with disastrous results. I mean an unmitigated disaster.
After the theft of that 2020 Presidential Election what we were left with is an illusion, in the form of fraud in the Oval Office.
Troll on commies.

the GOP leadership is either owned by china or the MIC, or both. This is why they do nothing as Democrats run wild and commit crimes left and right. Not a peep. They need to go.
