Their conclusion was the surface wasn’t sanded prior to application. But more importantly, they applied a plaster sealant used for pools instead of a concrete sealant, which they also didn’t allow to cure before filling with water.

I can see there being some truth to this. Surface prep is everything when laying down any type of sealant. Being pushed to finish by a deadline can lead to corners being cut.

I have no idea about the type of sealant used being the wrong type. What a huge fuggup if true.

Algea was a dumb flex by TDS sufferers. However, sheets of paint peeling off is very very bad. If true, it will need to be redone in short order much to the delight of anyone on the Left

Somebody's getting a warranty call.

I worked a retro-fit project of a warehouse conversion into a microelectronics fabrication cleanroom. Painter messed up on preparation of existing steel structure prior to applying some VERY EXPENSIVE coatings. A few months later the coating was peeling off in sheets and flakes into the clean air supply plenum, and other places, just prior to CR Certification. It was a mess, Lawyers, Email discovery, testimonies, millions $$$s involved and small painting contractor went belly up. I was lucky not to be involved as I was manager of the Process Piping contractors. Whoow-weee.

The coat isn't peeling. That is debris someone tossed in

You fell for the lying MSM propaganda

So do we know for sure what is going here? All I still see is that the paint/sealant is peeling.

While an in credibly small problem in the grand scheme of the United States, it looks terrible for Trump.

While maybe a little ironic, the company was hired to re-seal the pool. As far as I know, they don't have anything to do with refilling or maintaining it

The current focus by the left and other TDS sufferers on the reflecting pool that us being fueled by the MSM is interesting since none of the former entities gave a thought about the state of the pool before.

So who made it a story? The people who, as you say, didn’t give it a thought? Or the people who spent a lot of money to improve it and failed?

Duh, the MSM did as well as leftists and other TDS folks striving for a gotcha.. Did they make it a story before? - No, as stated, no coverage or concern before regarding the pool in years past, despite its status.

It's getting really sad at the level of intelligence and lack of comprehension skills people have currently. No wonder we are in the situation we're in.

This was inevitable. It's happened after every previous renovation and is just an ugly part of new water in thay environment.

Algae in the water is meaningless and inevitable, unless they chlorinate it or something. There was a post earlier about some sort of nano bubble something or other that kills algae. That is interesting.

Should the sealer be able to be cut and pulled up from the surface like it was a tarp? Sure doesn't seem like it.

Stout said only an idiot liberal would think it could be removed that easily and it would take an industrial grinder to get it off. And he's pretty smart so he would know.

And wasn't there reports of the sealant failing for the past few days and not just recently? Has the perp been reeeaaal busy?

Seems like there is a lot of misinformation out there. Maybe we should wait and see what the investigators find out. They just arrested someone...
