When is the last time you were in college? I was a non traditional after the military in 2016 and nothing in these departments have changed. The only thing that has is marketing signs trying to get more asses in chairs for basic STEM degrees. You’re not cranking out anything worthwhile when most of an undergraduate is basic filler classes.
The frick does this have to do with anything? An undergrad engineering degree for example can have you earning 6 figures relatively quickly with normal working hours and good benefits and little debt.
Your blanket statement is complete nonsense.

You arguing a salary isn’t showing the importance of STEM and what’s being offered at most universities.

Holy shite hahahaha

What metric would you like to argue? STEM degrees provide much more utility than most BA programs.

Isn’t the utility to become more advanced pushing student in a STEM path, not salary? You’re discussing individual utility when I’m talking about the agenda to push STEM to fill seats. Most students at a typical university aren’t advancing they’re filling careers. Now go to the top universities you may have more utility than your typical student at a state university.

Another brain raped retard crying because golden nuggy is too fricking dumb to beat out an illiterate jeet for a $50k / year email job that will be replaced by AI in 3 years.

Still batting a thousand huh Roger? You'll get something right if the law of averages ever shows up in your case...

MAGA is full of victims. Its apparent from these discussions y'all are terrified of mildly educated foreigners.

Stop working for massive corporations, they've created a nation of zombie.
Oh yea sure. Let me go work for a small company.
Oh wait, the company just went out of business because a large corporation just swept in with tons of financial advantages and bought out the small company.
Let me quit my job and find another small company that will eventually become a large corporation.
You are living in fantasy land.

You will not, because you prefer the money and benefits of the corporations.
Conservatives have lost their way both materially and spiritually.

And…you are wrong again
I went and worked for a small company. It went out of business due to legislative action in Nebraska.
I went and worked for another small company. In 4 years, it was purchased by a global tech conglomerate.
On and on.

So there was never anti-Italian or anti-Irish sentiment? When it is overdone for any group, it’s a problem. The Indian problem is real and pervasive even places you wouldn’t expect. My city has been overtaken. It’s insane.

Instead Pajeet is hired. He doesn’t actually live in the United States. But he is coming.
This is a bullshite example. Pajeet is an engineer? Computer scientist? You show me an American engineer or computer scientist who is not in a well paid job and I’ll show you a frickwad.
I’ve been trying to hire engineers for over 30 years, up until 2 years ago, and it is difficult to find them - Pajeet or Bubba. Oh, I could always find more than I needed, but these were the type of guys whose productivity was less than nothing.
I’m telling you, that if you have a friend or neighbor who has trouble finding good work in the engineering or computer science industries your friend or neighbor is a frickwad. Clarification: Downturns are a different matter.

So when I walk around tailgating at Georgia Tech for a football game and 90% of the students are from foreign countries, you truly believe that those students should go back to their own country to work and not be able to get a H1-B visa to work in America?
Posted on 12/27/24 at 10:46 am to texag7
I don't have a larger problem with an immigrant taking my job than I have with a long time American citizen taking my job because his skin is darker than mine.

So go do better or get another job. No one owes you a job or a career. You earn it and take it....
