Hardly ever see an incumbent defeated.
Yeah, I know.
That's the whole problem.
But again, only 9% of registered Republicans bother to get off the couch and vote in Congressional primaries.
Even if every one of them voted for an incumbent all you would need is an additional 10% of the already registered Republican electorate to figure out that the primaries are really where they influence politicians.
Ten percent. One out of ten. That's all.

How would you vote differently if you were Independent rather than Republican?
I'm still a registered Republican because I want to vote in the primaries. I was commending James Woods for calling out how corrupt the Republicans are, too.

HW wanted to distance himself from Reagan but I think his ‘kindler, gentler’ messaging was clumsy & he told on himself more than he thought.

This is why, as a former Dem, I can't support Republicans either. I am essentially voting Democrat again.

They may lose power, but we’re the ones who’ll suffer by not voting for them.

I see. So in other words, while you’re already suffering anyway, may as well voluntarily suffer more. Go big or go home.

The GOP aren't republicans. WE are. They have no pathway to represent us at all anymore.
I am an actual republican. Those traitors in washington, 99% of them, have contempt for us.

An independent vote is just another vote for the Democrats. I get the frustration for the GOP, but voting independent is the absolute most retarded thing to do.

Without campaign finance reform, all of this is a mute point. Big donors can buy both sides and do.

If you do not vote Republican Party line in the midterms you are de facto communist.
This is where we are as a nation.

When I’ve participated in destroying the latter, I’ve been rewarded by ‘improvement’ like watching the GOP ignore the SAVE Act.
