One thing about shotguns vs rifles is lethal at distance. Many victims are hit at distances a shotgun would not kill at. Just pointing that out.

I have no interest in owning a gun but if I wanted to own an AR-15 with a 100 round magazine then that is my constitutional right as an American. Go ahead and try to amend the constitution to restrict the Second Amendment, that is your right, but don't try to take away my right without going through the proper channel because something sounds scary.

There is a good reason why the 1st is the 1st and the 2nd is the 2nd. Unfortunately, dotard and his shrinking band of minions think it's the other way around. I remember a time when the NRA was actually worthy of something other than keeping a scorecard. Been there, done that. I don't agree with a ban on the Assault Rifle 15, but I do support a higher level of "license" in order to own one. Such as one needs a CDL to operate an 18 wheeler, one should also qualify to own and use a crappy AR15.
