Literally know somone who went on a fricking bus tour of Israel Last week, Wed through Sunday.
Obviously the trip was cut short and they had to bus to Egypt to get a flight.
The kicker is... The tour guide lead was the fricking son of an extremely high level state dept official. And they still went blindly on the trip.
People have no fricking clue about anything other than what kicks them in the face.
The Navy and USAF were only mobilizing around Iran for 2 months.

What, exactly, is a “fake city”?
Singapore went from tropical backwater to one of the most advanced cities on Earth in a little over a generation. Is that “fake”, too?

Lots of Americans are permanent residents there and have jobs.
I cant really see them needing to flee.
This seems like made up hysteria for clicks.

Yeah, my BIL was flying for FedEx in and out of there for years. It might be the nicest of the Middle East countries, but it's still a Middle East country.

It’s a “fake” city in the sense that it was created by oil revenue, with the main industry being tourism. There’s nothing organic about it at all. It’s a city designed to whitewash the UAE’s image as a progressive, futuristic country when in reality it’s a backwards arse place run by corrupt ragheads who enslave foreign workers from South Asia and pay them like absolute shite.
There’s plenty of cities in the U.S. that easily surpass Dubai in aesthetics that weren’t built by slave labor.

Dubai is probably the best place in all of the middle east, but it's still in an incredibly unstable region.
Dubai is safer than any relevant city in America and it’s not even close. You can park a Ferrari over there leave the driver door open with key fob in the seat for days and nobody will touch it. Try that in a shithole like New Orleans or Baton Rouge.

How fricking retarded does one have to be to visit the middle east and just assume it's safe? I know Dubai is probably the best place in all of the middle east, but it's still in an incredibly unstable region. I'll never understand the attraction to that region. I wouldn't be caught dead visiting the middle east.
you sound like you've never left Houma

Guy that works for wife's company is stuck there right now, he was on his way to India, and was there for a couple of days. They are trying to find a way to get him out.
