Assuming that half of these women just decide to give birth, they most likely are not financially able to fully take care of the child. I assume this will only exacerbate the welfare requests to care for the children. What are we to do besides continue to print money?

Or maybe people will think about consequences just slightly more? Amazing how most people can avoid something avoidable, but some can’t.

How many abortions happen in states that will ban it vs the rest? Abortion count will still be in the hundreds of thousands.

Do you honestly think these people were responsible with their habits before? Very little changes among the lower income spectrum. Even with widely available abortion and contraceptive there are still women on welfare with 7 children by 4 different men. Abortion did NOTHING to curb that.

Welfare is already a mega albatross around the neck of the federal budget.

Also, things you can do to avoid abortion:

1. Don't have sex

2. Use a condom

3. Take birth control

4. Use UTI

5. Spermicide

6. Don't have sex when you're most likely to get pregnant

There are so many CHOICES you can make that avoid having to get an abortion.

Counterpoint: What if the unwanted pregnancies actually decrease cause personal responsibility is now required.

Disney/Apple/Starbucks flying everyone to California to kill babies and lay on beach a couple of days.

Everyone will be fine.

Start throwing them in prison if they keep popping out more kids than they can afford.

Well states still have to decide their own rules. Still going to be plenty of abortions.

Idc. My tax dollars are already going to funding a bloody, foreign war that has nothing to do with us. I'm fine with my tax dollars going to American youth.

Maybe they'll start taking responsibility for their unprotected recreational sexcapades.

I feel there will not be as much more as you think. Abortion has been the choice of birth control for a lot of people. They will now have to figure out something besides killing a baby.

I'd be willing to bet a majority of women who want abortions live in states where it's legal. Perhaps many of the rest will either vote with their feet or make lifestyle changes. Roe was around for 50 years, but pre-Roe life existed for thousands of years.

Here is a stat a little over 60% of abortions are not done via a medical procedure. They are done by the morning after pill. Also abortion procedures are down about 30% over the last few years.

Ah. Thought so. My condolences.

No person who values life cares about welfare programs over life. You have been disqualified automatically. Thank you for your shilling.

Actually cash welfare is not as easy to get as it used to be. Most states have strict time limits as to how long a person can be on it. Non cash benefit programs like food stamps, public housing, and Medicaid are a different story.

abortion has been nothing more than the ability to be irresponsible without consequences.
