Does this history include how the Indian tribes killed each other, or just how the evil white man slaughtered the helpless natives?

The United States of America started in 1776. What’s so hard about that?

The land was here before that. Do we really need academics to clear that up?

In the late 60’s I was in grammar school. They taught us about pre-revolutionary war America. They didn’t teach us much about 10,000 years ago because there is no written history of that because the humans who lived here were illiterate savages.

However, this whole America started in 1776 is a bunch of bunk, too. That's ignoring 10,000 years of history before the time of Paul Revere!

What sort of shitty school did you go to where this wasn't taught? We learned about ancient Egyptians, the Magna Carta, Columbus, Leif Erickson, etc.

Did you have the history books that talks about Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio being married?

Paul Revere's "midnight ride" was in April 1775. If you understood US history, you'd feel different about what your kids learn about the history of THEIR country.

well, that would be you, Sparky.

1. Black slaves were enslaved by other blacks. Enslaved them in Africa and treated the blacks in horrific manner. Blacks are treating other blacks n much the same way today. In fact, blacks are the most violent demographic in EU and US.

2. The indigenous people in America almost certainly came from Asia over the Bering bridge. These people also enslaved others like them too. This lasted for dozens of millennia and was in place when Europeans came to inhabit the Americas beginning in about 1500. Horrific treatment of enslaved indigenous was already firmly in place though it became more common to treat slaves as a sort of 'family'. The indigenous were at times genocidal as well. They certainly had no more claim to North American lands as the later arrivals with their more permanent settlement practice.

1619 has been debunked because the originators of the concept were nothing more than the promulgators of lies, like YOU, Sparky!

and the accompanying CRT promulgation of lies like YOU, Sparky!

The one common thread today is the promulgation of lies to fit your radicalized politics. Sparky.

Then prior 1776 history should simply be named the coordinated assigned to the landmass from expeditions intentional or otherwise.

Ex: History- 48.1667° N and longitude 100.1667° W.

You’d swear slavery was invented by white Europeans in America when in reality it was practiced since the advent of mankind until America led the crusade in abolishing it across the world.

This was thanks to the British Empire, America decided to kill each other over it while the rest of the world did otherwise.

Though slavery exist today

Western Europeans came over here during the ice age. They have proof of it. People came across the land bridge in Alaska as well and they started banging each other. DNA is proving there was global movement of people likely before the last cataclysm 12000 years ago. There’s a tribe in New Zealand who has Peruvian and Persian dna. They have been there longer than anyone

I thought my kids the lesson of American History before 1776 is a Nation must protect her borders.

The Native Americans did not or could not protect their borders and in just a few generations they lost their Nation.

We are no different. If we don’t protect our borders we will be run off our land and decimated.

Recorded human history goes back about 5000 years

And reliable recorded temperature/weather only dates back to the 1860s, which is why the climate change acolytes are truly retarded.

What's so bad about teaching kids in grade school the truth about indians and their history pre-arrival of Columbus?

I will bite. What is the value of teaching about Native Americans in such detail as you suggest? You realize that you can dedicate years of study to a handful of tribes that were all doing pretty much the same thing without much written history?

I am not saying the history is not important but there is a whole host of other events and people given a cursory glance at best. It certainly is not important to a grade schooler that is being introduced to history for the first time.
