He has been in this 50 years. He was VP when our foreign policy went to shite with apology tours and wanting to be liked.

I will bite. What is the value of teaching about Native Americans in such detail as you suggest? You realize that you can dedicate years of study to a handful of tribes that were all doing pretty much the same thing without much written history?
I am not saying the history is not important but there is a whole host of other events and people given a cursory glance at best. It certainly is not important to a grade schooler that is being introduced to history for the first time.
