I’m kind of floored at the swift moving open hate for Israel in this nation and world.

This has quickly become an open position of those on the left and some on the right. Just utter disdain for our only consistent regional partner.
Yes they have done some dirty stuff with the espionage and “bombing” us that one time…but this is kind of absurd. Just open hate for the Israelis is no long a taboo but an acceptable position.
Like there is some guiding force behind the curtain orchestrating all this.

As a Christian I don't hate Israel or the Jewish people. On the other hand I don't think the Christians in the US should blindly support Israel when some of Israel's political and national interests are not in the best interests of the US.

I don't want to dislike Israel. I think they have gone overboard in Gaza, but I get if if you think Hamas FAFO and Gazans have to pay the price.
I do need a summary of why they are leveling Lebanon.

I still have a favorable view of Israel, but you would have to be retarded to believe that Massud was caught flat footed on Oct 7. A Palestinian can't take a dump in Gaza without them knowing and somehow an operation that had thousands of soldiers using gliders and bulldozers went undetected? Not in a billion years.

It’s strange the blind support for a country filled with a religion that holds some VERY anti Christian views.
Tell me, biblically speaking - why did God expel the “chosen people” from the “chosen land”? Under what conditions could they return? Have those conditions been met?
What do Jews believe about non Jews? They’ll lie to your face about this, so read their religious texts on your own.
Israel uses the US and its taxpayers to do their bidding because this country has been infiltrated and corrupted to the point of acquiescence. That’s not a “partnership”.

To the OP... the above poster I quoted highlights the problem quite nicely- doesn't have any particular "issue" with Israel outside of outsized influence on our national interest- yet that reasonable opinion gets reasonable people accused of "hating Israel".
