OP knows nothing about international relationships , let alone the history of the Ukraine/Russia issue.

Same. I feel like this just means there isn't enough going here in the news to really get all stirred up about, so they have to throw this bullshite in there too.

And I am "mind blown and amazed" to see that any thinking human would see even the most-remote similarity between the wars in Ukraine and Gaza.

What people need to realize is that there is no option to push Russia back and get them to concede territory. That ship sailed. The only way that happens is with US boots on the ground in a direct war with Russia and that would be stupid to do over Ukraine.

Ukraine cannot win they no longer have the manpower. They cannot even hold out and hope attrition makes Russia blink.

It’s over. The option is stop bloodshed now or let it continue and Russia takes more territory and kills more people. This is a “stop throwing good money after bad” situation. Cut your losses, take your L, and go home

If you think these bombings are an abomination please go look at the history of these countries going back to the early 1900’s.

This stuff is not even a blip on the radar of what was going on in the early 1900’s. Stalin even urged leadership to never allow Ukraine to separate before his timely passing.

I appreciate the "compliment".

I'm not really a fan of Mr. Trump, but I also don't need to preface every concern or issue with "I voted for Trump". Firstly, because I didn't in all elections and secondly because it's irrelevant.

How many Americans will travel to Ukraine or Russian in their life time?

Why do the next generations need to keep funding it. ?

No clue, don’t care.

As far as I’m concerned Ukraine and Russia need to handle their business and all of us need to stay out.

Their history is older than our entire existence as a country. I don’t like meddling in these affairs.

Your outdated worldview has never been more irrelevant. Nobody under 40 agrees with you (left or right).

This is normally how war works.

Please outline what you think Ukraine gains from this plan, other than a stop to the fighting.

They get to keep what country they have left. It would all be Russia's eventually if they don't agree to peace.

They are forced to limit the size of their military. They are limited as to what weapons they can possess. They cannot join a defensive alliance. They cannot allow the troops of their allies to have bases on their soil.

True but from what little I've read, they have support from US and European nations in terms of future defense but no NATO membership. Which is more than fine with me.

This proposal is simply a plan for Ukraine to spread its legs and wait for Russia to build its reserves and come back for sloppy seconds in a few years.

See previous point.

Why do we care what Ukraine gets out of the deal so much? The America First effort is to stop bleeding tax dollars to a foreign war where we don't necessarily have substantial interests.
