Wow, get a load of this paid operative hired by the Arizona DNC to sow disinformation

Right guys?

Other than the Governor, AZ has two Dem Senators, a Dem AG, and a Dem SoS. Did Lake lose all of those races? The state has shifted.

Martha McSally, an even worse candidate than Lake, can be thanked for losing both Senate seats in the first place.

Kari Lake rules. If she wins, she'll get re-elected by a much higher margin next time she runs. The mainstream media and our own Republican party have been demonizing her since she arrived on the scene, and that is tough to fight against. I really hope she wins and lays waste to all the losers.

I have a theory, that the reticence of voters about her comes from her media training.

She comes across as a very well spoken storyteller who knows exactly what to say to an audience and how to engage them, because that's exactly who she is and what she was trained to do. It doesn't help her cause, because an almost universal trait of the MAGA/America First movement is a resounding distrust of the media.

I speak only for myself, but I can say with certainly that I personally have always been hesitant about her for this exact reason. Hopefully she'll pull out a win and prove my fears as unjustified.

Which is? Nah, just forget it. I've asked about five times why she is a terrible candidate and not one reason has been given. "she's a bad candidate because she loses" is not a the reason why she loses.

And still.. every statewide office is held by a Democrat

Not to split hairs here, but that's not true.

Moreover, Kari Lake wasn't the only poor Republican candidate for office. Martha McSally was awful and Blake Masters creeped women out. Abe Hamadeh losing the AG race is the only one that's inexplicable.

Yet the republican nominee for president, who was demonized by the media more than any figure in history other than maybe Hitler, was able to win in the same year.

I don’t know what it is, but there’s just something Arizona voters don’t like. Maybe it’s unfair or whatever, but how can the same people apparently see through it for Trump but not for her? Maybe there is something people legitimately don’t like about her.

That is literally how the whole democracy thing works lol

Like I love Pat Buchanan and Ron Paul more than any other politicians. They are way better on policy than Trump is. But they are bad candidates for president.

Why?

Because they lose

Kari Lake was a never Trumper and Obama supporter. I wish I knew why some people on here get a pass and some don't. You hate Kemp and he never was a never Trumper, he just didn't get into the dust up. I voted for Trump, but Lake just seems like the Republican version of Hillary. She's a bitch for one, has a man haircut number 2, and hasn't ever won an election. Three strikes bitch!

She's Trump with tits.

People don't care for loud, aggressive and confrontational women.

And by the way, she was a big time Obama supporter. There are questions about her sincerity.

I know you will discount, but thems the facts.

She may pull it off.

I do agree. Just about any other person would have won.

FU . I have voted straight Republican my whole life. How ignorant do you have to be to think EVERY Republican candidate is good. Let me be clear, I voted for her, my wife voted for her, but she is very unlikeable.
But again, Please GFY for being so god damn blind to a candidate that continues to underperform as the Republican Presidential candidate wins. fricking Idiot.

Calm down buddy. I was being sarcastic because a bunch of people in this thread are acting like people like you don’t exist

I was pointing out to your post as a prime example of why she isn’t a good candidate. I am agreeing with you essentially

It is sarcasm. Stop insulting me haha

I’m not sure her firebrand style is right for Arizona voters, which tend to be moderate if you look at their past Senators like McCain and Jeff Flake (as much as I hate them).

She would do better in a more conservative state like Oklahoma, Wyoming, etc who are more likely to vote for a farther right candidate

What are you going to do when she wins? Are you going to bleed all over the board still?!

One can hope she wins while understanding she is a terrible candidate.

Have to chuckle as so many here do the exact same as the dems have been doing since the fifth; Blame the voters instead of the candidate.

As said above, she'd probably do well in Wyoming...

I don’t see how it can be argued

And I don’t want to hear muh chear arguments or claims. It makes no sense that Trump can win a state, and then the Republican senate nominee doesn’t. Even if there was a bunch of cheating, the only reason the vote share isn’t 1:1 is because a huge number of the LEGITIMATE ballots split the ticket. A theoretical fake ballot would OBVIOUSLY vote against both Trump and Lake.

People need to get real about things. Just because the media lies and gaslights us so hard doesn’t mean every single thing that’s true is a complete inversion.

I dont see LA voting for a democrat president anytime soon but i could easily see our next governor being a democrat.

I'm squarely in those shoes. Putting another MTG in the Senate isn't my dream scenario, but it's better than a Dem.
