I'll gladly pay more in taxes to get federal healthcare for all damnit

That's one thing I won't mind paying damnit. The American health care system is mediocre and it goes before Obamacare. I'm an Independent, I am not really a fan of big government, but healthcare is just too complex. I think it has something to do with the health lifestyle.
