I can only imagine you typed this because sky screaming was working any longer. In no time or manner does this drivel make sense. You have lived in a world of complacency or shadows of others to have to actually believe this nonsense

Bruh, do you sniff ball sacks by choice or something? I’m probably the most conservative person in this board.

I mostly echo Gerard Baker’s WSJ column from a day or two ago. Trump’s foreign policy instincts are those of a realist rather than an idealist. Hopeful of a deus ex machina regime and a “solution” to the 47 year-old problem of the Islamic Republic, he he briefly became and was certainly influenced by idealists who are more sanguine about the US’s ability to mold the world for the better through the use of military force. When, once again, the limitations of military force became evident, Trump returned to form.

Which part?
The initial bombing which got us to where we are today with next to nothing to show for our efforts (including dead soldiers) or the potential of signing a shite agreement?

First off, nobody here knows for sure what the heck is going on 100%.
One option is this: We went in with Israel and things went spectacularly.
The IRGC was severely damaged.
I personally was ready for special ops to start guerrilla warfare tactics and use the rebels to finish the job, with the people by the millions doing their part too.
That didn't happen to my disappointment.
Why?
A. Our ordinance was low and crap started stirring up with Russia and possibly China as well. Bulgaria was rumored to be about to enter etc. etc.
B. Turks screwed Iran people over and change of plans was needed.
C. Option A or B was why we halted although B has had time to be rectified so I doubt that was it.
So either planned from the start or altered as war stuff almost always is. And we have gone with drag this out a ceasefire as long as possible.
The plan being we don't need to defend anyone or anything if the IRGC stops fighting. Then we cut them off economically and they grow weaker every day.
The thought process being that whatever needs to be done to topple the IRGC will be easier and easier as their economy crumbles. Military not getting paid and the citizens grow tired and impatient and start up some small crap of their own.
Telling the world we will negotiate about the Uranium later is simply to allow more time for the IRGC's power to weaken.
It sounds ridiculous for us to offer carrots to the IRGC that are absurd. But those carrots will never be delivered.
Option D. Trump is stupid and actually believes terrorist with hate for the west in their heart can be trusted.
Option E. Trump plans for more chaos in the ME which will leave the USA as the worlds unchallenged king as we hold the worlds energy future in our hands and countries will be forced to serve as our pawns are be chocked to death economically. Basically he pulled the rug out from under our newly found Arab allies just before victory over Iran so that they can live on in a pissed off emboldened manner.

Being conservative is not a repellent for complacency or living in the fear of darkness of others shadows. That nonsense was a load of rubbish, but you obviously have a Democrat streak in your formation of thought. This situation is nowhere close to being resolved unless IRGC suddenly becomes an Iran’s version of RINO’s.

We'll only know when, and if, the deal is finally put to paper.
He's making sausage. It's not 14d chess (although, it's far from as simple as some want to pretend it is). It's making sausage.

Iran now have no military and had no economy during the blockade but so many Americans were complaining about the price of gas.
Please tell us you were not one of them.

I hear this over and over and over....yet we have to ask permission to get thru international waters in the strait. Pretty bold dick swinging going on by someone with "no military"
Please explain why we beg them for letting ships thru.
If you cant admit they are absolutely dominating the world in the strait, then there is no reason to continue.
Our big beautiful navy, and army, and ships, and bombers etc....can't stop a bunch of raghead idiots with limited infrastructure and "no military left", from scaring us out of the strait.

The Turks and there are several small ones in the Southeast part of Iran and I can never remember their name.

No not them. I was referring to the majority of the Iranian citizens that have been protesting in the streets before the war even started.

Strange you didn't post about it coming before it happened? hmmmm Why so secretive?

Easing the market and leaving in place real estate that is not a vacuum for the vulture neighbors.

Well to be fair, they also didnt kill their entire governmental and military leadership structure

The “deal” will always be sabotaged by Israel. They will never stop.
