I don't know about democrats.

But I think a DeSantis/Massie type ticket would give republicans a chance.

If the GOP stays on the neocon course, they are fricked. With DeSantis you get a proven governor who should cater to more establishment types, and with Massie you get a guy who was firm on conservative values and was attacked for by neocons.

But if history has shown us anything, the GOP would rather lose than put conservatives in office.

How come I always think of the Jewish thing when I hear about Shapiro, but not immediately when I hear about Ossoff ? Maybe b/c Shapiro has been around longer ? Or maybe b/c 'Shapiro' is a slightly more Jewish name ? Im not sure, but I know im not the only one .

Also, even though I was not alive- there was a time when it was almost taken as gospel truth that a Catholic could never win the Presidency.. Until JFK did it .

My heart wants Rho Khanna, he's smart enough for the job. He went to Chicago University for undergrad then Yale for law school. He worked in Obama's US Department of Commerce from 2009-11 and has been a visiting lecturer at a few prestigious universities, writing a book and in congress since.

Since 2025 has been working with 2 youtubers, who were banned from Roblox for catching pedophiles on the site.

I just don't know that he has the charisma necessary. A lot of winning the presidency is just making the public like you more than they should.

I’d prefer Shapiro over anyone else from the Dems probably.

Republicans, I think I’d want Rubio or Kemp.

Rho Khanna

I like him because he's trust-busting type and we really need an administration that focuses on that for the next 8-16 years. But that's as far as I know about him.

Big Tech and many others are out of control

I tend to agree .. You can have all the credentials in the world, but when you're trying to lead 350 million people, ya gotta have likability and the ability to persuade people .. and that requires some level of "rizz" as the kids say .

Im always impressed by people who think they have it all figured out, while at the same time being utterly clueless .

I am happily divorced ... so you're wrong there.. And ive been Registered Independent since the year 1996, when I was finally old enough to vote.. I am not proud of my first vote (for a third party candidate at that time, a guy named Ross Perot) but I tell you that just to illustrate that for me, and I suspect for most Independents, it isnt just some passing fad like many of yall write it off as.. since you cant fathom not falling hook, line and sinker for the psychotic American two-party system .

I don’t think the Muslims will vote for a Jew. Precisely why Kamala didn’t pick Pa Gov as VP candidate.

Perfect example of why I think religion is the worst thing ever devised by mankind .

They all pray differently, to their own version of what they consider to be "god"... Or they dont pray at all..... But one thing im sure of is that an atheist, or even an out and proud agnostic- will never, ever get elected as POTUS in my lifetime .

I want whichever one most convincingly tells me they are gonna reduce muh gas prices, and promise me they arent gonna let the dirty jews keep the price of bacon high just to piss me off, and promise me free health care, and no student loan repayments, and a mansion with a zero percent mortgage.

Whichever one of those fine folks blows in my ear best will get muh vote regardless of whether they utter a single syllable about how they are actually going to do any of it. You see I'm a moron so whoever does these things automatically gets my vote no questions asked.

At this point democrats can run anyone and GOP voters will line up to vote for them.

They just want to stick it to Trump.

I think you're forgetting exactly how short the memory is of the average American voter .. We are talking about two years from now, not next month .

I understand how short the memory of a voter is, the GOP just helped elect a bunch of liberal and DSA candidates.

I am 9,000 miles away from Georgia (Georgia the state, not Georgia the country) and I have heard of him .

Seriously though, he became a "name" iirc about 3 or 4 years ago nationally during the last cycle.. and while ill admit I dont know much about him other than his party affiliation, in my most humble opinion- what is needed in America in this moment more than anything else, are Centrists.. I dont give two shits if they are labeled R or D.. but guys (or women) like Reagan and Bill Clinton.. my two favorite Presidents........ b/c they were both basically two different sides of the same coin, one leaned SLIGHTLY right and the other slightly left, despite the revisionist history here .. I will however give the edge to RWR for seemingly being a better guy, in his personal life, than Clinton was.. but I honestly dont care as much about their personal peccadilloes and indescretions if they get shite done .
