If we unload on Iran with bombs, missles, etc

why didnt we do this weeks ago?

We bombed 12,000 targets and burned through a significant % of our precision munitions (debate about whether it was 25%, 33% or 50% but whatever it was a big number).

Continuing to bomb the same targets wouldn't change the outcome.

Iran had decades to prepare for this. Their assets were dispersed and well protected .

They took our best shot, and they're still standing. Still running the government. Still controlling the SOH. Still arming Hezbollah. Still building ballistic missiles.

About the only thing they aren't doing is enriching Uranium. So there's that.

Myself and others here have suggested from the beginning that Iran will never negotiate in good faith. If they do sign an agreement, they will never comply with its terms. They only understand force, and our hands are tied by our own people and likely our own government about using the necessary level of force to do the job.

Until the US gains the resolve to do what is necessary to achieve an actual victory, there’s no telling how long this will drag on.

He isn’t calling for hitting the same targets, but the bridges, power plants, and other vital infrastructure.

You can NOT negoiate with Islam. They're ultra religious zealots. Lying to the infidels is called for in their Koran.

Oh and one more thing - given the oppertunity they would hang you upside down from the ceiling, cut your throat, and watch you bleed out.

All that would do is strengthen the IRGC even further and harm the common Iranian people. Trump threatened on that and Iran called his bluff. No reason to go back over that ground again.

Their ability to attack shipping in thr SOH was not destroyed by 12,000 sorties. They still have the missiles and the boats and the command and control systems to sink merchant vessels.

The only way to neutralize that is with small boat team commando style incursions. And we don't have the stomach for that.
