Counter point

No one is paying back anything at all now

So no it will not be paid back if you add more people that will never pay it back

What a fricking load of shite

Just because more people get educated, doesn't mean there will be an exact number of jobs available or the economy will grow.

Liberal arts degrees tend not to grow our economy.

I researched the author and origins. This is from the McCourt School of Public Policy. They are an esteemed institution that has been in operation for almost 8 years.

quote:

The McCourt School launched its first year in October 2013 and enrolled its first students in the Master of International Development Policy (MIDP) program[12] in the fall of 2012. The McCourt School launched the Executive Master in Public Policy Leadership[4] in 2014.

This article reminds me of a something I read 10 years ago. It said that Southern U. of New Orleans (SUNO) had a graduation rate of almost 4%.
Does anyone here know how the school is doing now?

They say this until you get into the actual upper level courses where 10 people are in your class and the one black chick is always forgetting to bring a pencil to the damn exam.

Even such a simple task she is expects to be helped by others.

Blacks have been at the bottom of academic performance forever in grades 1 thru 12. Seeing major improvement earlier in their education would seem more sensible.

So Yshoo should be doing a puff piece on Biden any day now for securing long term funding for HBCU’s. Wait...that was Trump that did that. I bet they still credit Resident Biden.

This is accurate. Surprisingly, they more than tripled that last year.

Not surprisingly, 52% of SUNO students don't even make it to the second year.

FIFY

If momma is an uneducated baby factory being rewarded by the state for her horrible life choices, then her progeny don't have a prayer.

This is what they don’t seem to understand.

It’s like when a fashion brand starts being sold at Target, it’s no longer exclusive.

With some exceptions, college degrees are the new high school degrees, which are the new GEDs.

There is some truth that opportunity to all creates more strength in the end. I never go against opportunity. I go against equity. Opportunity is starting from the ground up and working on public education which the Fed government has destroyed. Then work on things like..don't shoot each other or assault cops then wonder why you get shot.

Simple things.
