Hey Scoper. Trump specifically said he isnt not going to cut SS payments to anyone that is supposed to receive them. The fraud will be stopped, but not legitimate payments.

I would think if people started getting smaller SS checks, then they would know. Would be hard to hide that from the public.

The only scam is the federal government skimming out of the Social Security Trust Fund for hobby horse programs. SSI is self-sustaining with prudent money management and congress keeping their fingers out of our trust fund.

You do realize that there is a difference in reducing SS payments and finding corruption within the SS system which means cuts will be attainable within the system don't you?

This deficit is larger today because of the higher interest payments.
Cut all non-defense discretionary spending and save 0.92T
Slash the military by half and you save 0.4T
Add in the $236B in waste (which give a double benefit to the reduction as it accounts for lots of waste in the non-discretionary and half military budgets)
Still running a deficit
Spoiler: we aren't cutting non-military spending to $0 and cutting the military budget anywhere close to 50%.
