Look around the world, lots of minorities in charge of majority countries....Obama and his hatred for America has taken hold of the USA. I believe he is behind most all this BS.

And in the end, even the DEMS will be horribly unhappy with the country, they just too blinded to see what is coming.

We're asking for more accomplished conservatives with good message discipline, like Rand Paul and Ron DeSantis.

You champion an unwinnable national GOP. If Jeb comes back out of the swamp, you'll be cheering. Ron and Rand are nothing more than Ted Cruz, Marco, Lindsay Graham... Old boring arse shite. Same old same old..

If Trump wouldn't have come along, we'd be in the tail end of Hillarys 2nd term and ready to run some boring loser served up to get mowed down by the next Dem..

Most of the Republicans who ran in 2016 would've defeated Hillary, and quite a few of them would've won the Popular Vote. Again, John Kasich and Marco Rubio, two total bores, were crushing Hillary in the national polls by 7 and 4 points on average.

I think it was Taxing Authority said this the other day — the argument is some states like GA, NV, and AZ wouldn’t even be in play with Youngkin or Ron. You could mark them down as wins right now.

There's no evidence to support this. Trump has millions of apolitical voters who wouldn't vote for any other Republicans. You people love to point out how hated Trump is but always ignore the voters who will only vote Trump. These people that hate Trump wouldn't vote for a different Republican either.

It's a poor argument used only by people who cannot accept that Trump is by and far the best candidate for Republicans to win. Desantis isn't pulling men and minorities like Trump, nor independent women due to his abortion stance, and he isn't generating enthusiasm among people on his own side like Trump.

I get it though. Your guy lost in embarrassing fashion, so you are clinging to whatever you can to feel better about supporting the losing side. It's tough to admit you were wrong, so we end up with what we have, a group of so-called conservatives desperate to prove they were right, even if it means sinking Trump's chances and allowing democrats to continue destroying the country. It's just where we are as a country right now. Pride is more important than prosperity.

I like Rand, he won't be allowed near the nomination. DeSantis, I don't trust. But the GOP hasn't accomplished much "conservative" since Coolidge left office. I think I need a better definition of "conservative", because the mainstream definition too often seems to mean big government, big spending warhawk.

Absolutely!! It’s why people are wondering why Trump isn’t going after that whore and cum guzzler harder. We know this could be the death of our country and our rights!!

Down ballot races are not always indicative of a Presidential race. Voters are more likely to vote for a different party when it’s a governor, representative, or senator.

And I was more referring to Youngkin than the other two. I like DeSantis.

The pussification of the GOP looks like it is at its zenith.

Will be nice when it burns to the ground and starts up again.

GWB and Romney outperformed Republicans in the majority of counties. The last time there was such a high volume of ticket-splitting was in 1996, and that was only because Perot took away Dole’s votes. Perot voters voted Republican down ballot.

I’m not sure you’re even aware of what point you’re trying to make. Are you saying 36 years of data on presidential races is not enough?

What I’m saying is that it’s still possible for the GOP to win the Popular Vote. The problem is Trump can’t because he alienates too many people who typically vote Republican. The last time there were 5-6 million people who voted for Republicans down ballot but not for President was 1996, and that was only because Dole had to contend with a spoiler. When McCain and Romney ran, there were less than 2 million who split their tickets and voted Republicans down ballot.

They will no longer be getting my money if that happens. I will save every bit of my pay to build a self sustaining compound and dare them to come collect.

Because no other candidate could win the GOP primary. You can't possibly win a national election if you can't do that.

A plurality in the primary doesn’t necessarily translate to a national mandate.
