The object is to run of a business is to make money because the company is well managed and sound. You can’t just keep depending on people liking the product you are offering when you keep trying to turn off and offend half the country which is half the customers you are trying to sell the NFL too. They are just now starting to recover from Kap really well.

1. Why the hell is this a political thread?
2. Metallica is great, but they’re way past their prime.
3. I think you’re overrating the draw they would be in 2026.
4. Who gives a shite? If it’s not an act you’re interested in, don’t watch.

Bad Bunny and Green Day couldn’t draw a crowd that Metallica draws to day unless they added Taylor Swift to the lineup too.

You're so out of touch it's not even worth arguing.

They have the USA. They are trying to expand worldwide. That's why they are expanding the international game schedule even though the home crowd doesn't like it

you're a moron.

If anyone at NFL HQ had any sense of humor, they’d have Spinal Tap as the halftime show.

I agree but I believe I heard the NFL is trying to reach more audiences. They want his audience, they want Taylor Swifts they want over seas .

It’s political because Bad Bunny wants to be political. See the Grammy acceptance speech as an example.

Metallica is still pulling in massive crowds today. Go watch a video on YouTube sometime. Make sure it’s a festival or stadium show.

The New stuff Metallica has put out is not the classic stuff but still miles better than Bad Bunny.

Will not be watching. The songs most his songs in Spanish. What would be the point since I don’t speak Spanish. Plus I don’t want to be preached at by some left wing idiot.

The secret is: If they had Metallica for the half time show, NO ONE would be talking about it.

They hire some fruitcake Mexican no one has ever heard of and it’s all anyone can talk about. THAT is a win in their book.

it would be awesome if metallica came out as bad bunny's backing band...in drag

Baseball is making a comeback. Football as a whole is on the decline. People seem to be turning on College football.

Well they have those already. The Super Bowl halftime show is either a rap, pop, or country artist every year. They would need to try a rock band to try to reach a different audience.

Dude

A rock band of guys 60+ isn't a halftime act for the Super Bowl

I guess someone forgot to tell that to The Rolling Stones in 2006 when they performed during Super Bowl XL halftime show at Ford Field, Detroit Michigan.
