Your whole theory is based on the fact that people will see how destructive these ‘Socialist’ candidate are, but you are forgetting the fact that these people don’t live in our reality. They are so brainwashed that they will believe the destruction is positive and it’s a utopia. Even if it causes harm to them.
Or that the people that flee will wake up and realize that the Left is wrong and switched to the Right. That doesn’t happen as we hope.

Nobody is "Cheering for NYC's demise"! People are stating an absolute fact that if the citizens of NYC elect a radical terrorist supporting socialist, there will be a mass exodus (think Detroit) of tax revenue, epic wasteful spending, massive corruption, incredible increase in crime and disgusting city decay like San Francisco immediately!

Exactly but let’s all cheer on the downfall of the financial hub of our country! I’ve been to NY twice in 44 years. Wasn’t overly impressed outside of seeing some of the famous old places there but I’m sure as shite don’t get cheering it’s ruin.

To be fair these are usually huge states with more conservatives than many dark red states even if they are the minority. It’s not just liberals that leave these states.

Just had a family move right next to me from New Jersey about 10 months ago(right before November election). He and his wife mid-30’s two kids and he sold his business and said Florida here we come. I had to feel him out slowly we got to talking about taxes and I learned quickly this is a Republican. The wife bought some Trump flags for our golf cart and a few extras to piss off so libatards in the neighborhood during elections. Our NJ Neighbor is still flying his proudly.
