Haven't Trump's lawyers said he's going to turn himself in?
I don't think extradition is going to be an issue. I suspect DeSantis will wait for something to actually happen before he talks about it, which is the correct move IMO.

FTR: I hope DeSantis does take a stand against this. I wouldn't mind Trump being held accountable if he committed crimes if there was equal justice; but with Biden and his scumbag family getting away with what they have done. Plus no one was held accountable on Russia gate. Comey and all of the rest of that Stasi gang skated. Hillary walked etc. etc.

In this case he didn’t commit a crime. His own lawyer surreptitiously recorded Trump discussing the payment. Trump said, clear as day, “any payment made must be on the up and up”. This is simply the weaponization of a government entity and many here, sadly, applaud it.

You need to forget about Trump. I realize that may be impossible for you.
DeSantis needs to do it because it’s the right thing to do from a policy and political standpoint.
No one should be afraid of taking a stand against political weaponization of prosecutions, regardless of how many mean things the target involved has said.
