In May 2026, Trump endorsed Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton over Cornyn, saying Cornyn had not supported him when times were tough

Necessary purge of the criminals and bootlickers. Texas and the republican party deserves to get smoked for nominating a sleaze like ken.

Nifty. Never knew Talicrico was so pure. Nor do I understand the concept of losing so you can win.

here's the thing boy, trump only endorses a candidate when he's sure they're going to win paxton beat cornyn by 30 points an endorsement can't do that.

as for polling this is the same polling that had wendy davis beating greg abbott she lost by over 20 points, the same polling that had o'rouke beating cruz and in 2022 beating abbott. ever notice how every election cycle democrats are turning texas blue and yet a democrat hasn't won a state wide election in texas since 1994 i was 33 years old in 94, i'm 65 now boy.

run along child the grown ups are talking politics.

Cornyn would have won general election. He would have cruised. Trump ruined that.

This board is so insanely stupid sometimes.

Paxton cannot be Senator. Moderate Republicans who would have voted for Cornyn are voting for Talarico.

Those same republicans who voted for Cornyn would vote for him again instead of either voting Dem or not voting at all instead of voting for Paxton and he would get majority of maga voters who would never vote Dem

Paxton beat him by 28 points. That argument doesn’t hold water.

No way Trump could know if Paxton can or will win.
He endorsed Paxton but chose not to endorse the encumber Cornyn because he had a beef with him.

Really hope Paxton wins.

Correct. And now over 1mm 'no primary' early votes. Almost 30% and projected to be the largest group. From election forecast

"Self-identified independents (who historically lean Republican in Texas) are currently favoring Talarico over Paxton by a large margin (69% to 11%), suggesting non-primary or crossover voters are breaking Democratic."

The twitters are posting long college lines walk marching---- as if it is a voting line for Talarico.

Mind you some college purple hairs in Austin Houston may be told they get credits for going to see Talarico speak (like Obama pulled in Chicago)

Granted many college kids are plainly ignorant believing whatever free everything and pot brownies Talarico promises....Will this be enough to win? It wasnt with Beto.
