Because to win a general you need to win some moderate votes

You don’t need to win any to win a primary

The GOP is such a mess that we won’t unite behind a candidate.

Your theory to surrender and allow Talarico TO TEACH A LESSON.

Then some R the Bush klan endorses will save Texas and be conservative lulz... Next, next, time.... is profound stupidity mixed with a huge fat jar of boudreauxs butt paste.

If Talarico wins, the democrats will enter Texas like cockroaches and never leave like VA.

You want dem rule with utter stupidity.

You stupid count

we're not wanting it to happen we're pointing out that it was inevitable by nominating that pos paxton

That's been my only point all along nominating paxton was handing the seat to the Democrats

And it's happening, not because I wanted it
I just knew what would happen

There's more rino politicians than rino voters, they go in as conservatives and reveal themselves after they consider themselves entrenched and it's difficult to get rid of them with the uniparty backing them at that point. That Paxton will have less support than Cornyn is Christmas Baloney.

What specifically is the fear of how Paxton would be less “moderate” than Cruz, should he be elected Senator, then?

Is there any particular legislation that moderate Texans think adding him to the Senate might be able to help advance versus someone like Cronyn?

That’s what I can’t seem to figure out.

Is not as much the difference between the vote on the floor

But it's all the other things that's done in chambers, in the hallways, not the stuff you see but the stuff you don't see.

Dunn, the west texas oil man that was early $$$ backer for Ken. Gets it out of the ground, Cruz has better friends in those who refine it.

Gross oversimplification ,but not inaccurate

By the way Dunn is not backing paxton as he had previously because Dunn is a very Christian man his big personal issue is vouchers for private school, but paxton infidelity finally being proven to be true has gotten dunn to back off of him

Cornyn losing was not hijacking a conservative movement. This is asinine.

One of your other posts said what my last reply said, and owl the POS replied he was praying for it.

At least you can argue your views without name calling. Calling a female a c u n t means the argument was lost..

I was speaking of general stupidity of this race and he got triggered and took it personal. So he is an a-hole.

Who GAF what he predicts he has said he isnt even voting. But he is a big man on here....pathetic!

This is an interesting thread. Might explain the confusion in our country today.

The answer is that more Texans would vote for Cornyn than Paxton in the election.

For all the reasons given about holding your nose and voting for Paxton… Those reasons would apply to voting for Cornyn vs. Talarico. And more independents would vote for Cornyn.

So Wheels isn’t going to bring down ballot GOP voters in?

There’s a lot of hope independents are going to vote for Dems because of high gas prices, but that’s not reality.

Wheels never ran against GPBush so he is okay.

Paxton did and beat the snot out of GPBush and Cornyn.

I would respect them more if they said this the truth...instead of dem and Bush talking points that Paxton is a criminal.

Paxton being a criminal isn’t just a talking point. It’s what Paxton has done.
