Because, and bear with me here, they actually went through the rubble and sorted it. Shocking I know.
Some of it, like landing craft and engines, were just in the middle of streets or on top of buildings. They were still finding airplane parts on top of buildings less than ten years ago.

Nothing in this post is true. It took several years, and millions of man hours of forensic work from thousands of people took place over that time.

I worked at NASA during the Columbia event and someone in Texas found a Michael Jordan signed basketball in their yard. Astronaut brought it up. Would have thought everything was destroyed…nope, signature still plainly legible.

Passports are quite durable. I accidentally washed and dried mine twice in France and it was still in good shape. I’ll bet they aren’t that easy to light on fire either (compared to paper), although I have not tried that.

Before the collapse there was lots of plane debris scattered below the buildings. The most recognizable debris were seats.
The shell of an airplane is basically a soda can but internal parts made of inconel and titanium survived the impact,fire and collapse.

Sir, you are the one questioning the existence of airplane parts.. You cant imply, hint at or outright claim they don't exist unless you are prepared to then argue that in fact no planes hit the World Trade Center. If you are going to argue this point then you have to explain away EVERYTHING
The problem you conspiracy theorist always have is that you can never stick to the inconsistencies or the hard to explain mysteries of a tragedy. You always have to run down every ridiculous rabbit hole and throw as much shite as you can against the wall. You can’t stick to what failure in construction and design would lead to collapse. Instead, you’re too preoccupied wondering about the existence of wings or calculating the improbability of a fricking passport found 2 blocks away that got blown out of an airplane that hit a building 77 floors up and exploded.

There were NOT thousands of personal items found scattered beneath the towers. In FACT......not one business/ofc Phone, File Cabinet, not one identifiable piece of a Toilet, Sink, Water Fountains, etc.! NOT ONE OF ANY FOUND IN BOTH TOWERS!
Try if you can to imagine just how many strong, rectangular, secure Metal File Cabinets there were in those 2 110 Story Office Bldgs!? Not One recognizable File Cabinet!! Nor was ONE Office Telephone, which are virtually made of Indestructable, Commercial Grade, Durable Plastics. How about ONE TOILET SEAT or a Recognizable Portion of a Toilet Bowl, Sink, etc. Take a guess how many Toilets/Sinks there were in those buildings!?!
