What does that have to do with forcing a medication on an employee?

Why do you think Uhaul didn’t apply that standard to current employees.

C’mon man.

I have a lot of shared concern about good faith folks who don't want the vaccine and are being pressured to take it or lose a job.

I have less sympathy for those who are evangelists against the vaccine and root for the demise of the vaccinated.

So you should be able to sue your company for forcing you to take the vaccine if something happens to you. They are forcing it. Lawyer up.

1. The vaccines are working against these new variants. Even in break through cases the immune system still has a head start on the virus. That is why < 10% of people admitted to the hospital for covid are vaccinated.

2. We are averaging approximately 100,000 new cases per day during this surge compared to over 300,000 new cases per day during the last spike even though the variant is more contagious. That is thanks to the vaccine.

3. The old variants have not gone anywhere. Viruses never disappear (which is why babies are still vaccinated against polio) and the vaccine works against those variants.

Now I am going to lose my job because I have legitimate concerns and will NOT be forced into it by anyone.
You sound like a frat pledge who's complaining about the Faternity making him do stuff.

No one is forcing you to do anything. You can quit anytime you want. Everyday you wake up and go to work for that company you are actively choosing to do so. They're not forcing you to work for them, just like they are not forcing you to get the vaccine.

I’ve had the vaccine but don’t believe that anyone be mandated to receive it, especially as a condition of employment. It’s a personal choice whether to get it or not.

He isn't active duty in the army

He is free to quit his job at any time and work for someone else who isn't going to mandated it. It's that simple. But no, he wants to work for that company despite this

Thus he sounds like a pledge who wants to join a fraternity but it's upset because he's being "forced" to do certain things to be apart of said fraternity.

Dude I think you should take a chance and NOT get the vaccine. I wouldn't quit and I would just try to quietly avoid the issue and ride it out under the radar. But if they force the it, you should stick to your guns and do what you believe is healthiest for you. You DO have a right to full autonomy and decision making over medical treatments performed on you and your family. That right is of the utmost seriousness and importance; clearly defined and universally accepted by medical ethicists in the wake of ww2. if you don't have a right to that you dont have a right to anything in this world at all. What they are doing is unethical and at some point could be open to litigation. You MUST stand for your rights and not let anyone violate them. In the event you lose your job, I am sure it will work out. You can find a better one, with like minded people, ones you even enjoy being around and dont pull this kind of thing. If you accept it then you are getting what you deserve. If you fight back or take chances in the name of standing for yourself, what you fairly deserve, and what is right...I promise you it will work out 100x better than you ever imagine. Because karma is real and if you have faith in the world and live with integrity, trust, and backbone, the world will have faith in you and never let you down

Ultimately I think "free market" solutions are failing conservatives, despite my preference for them. That said, my big issue on the vaccines is what the folks concerned with private sector mandates want done about it. Laws against them? Isn't that counterintuitive?

Why is this so difficult? Yes, it is fricked up they're making you do it but how about not taking a stand and take the shot.

I have a vaccine injured child. I have multiple kids that have a medical exemption in Mississippi, which is extremely hard to get. Vaccines don't play well in my family. This is not political as much as it is medical for me, however, nobody should ever be forced or strong armed. There are REAL risks and I have already lived that nightmare once.

They are a private company and can require whatever they want, how is that unethical. And your medical concerns over a vaccine boils down to politics, let’s not kid ourselves.

So if I am a religious owner of private company, I can mandate that no females will get an abortion? Company insurance will not pay for it, and if they are proven to have gotten one they are fired? That okay as well as a private company?
