People don’t like to go along with shite that’s fake. And wearing a mask for a fake crisis qualifies.

The “everyone has to wear a mask” phenomenon is pretty bizarre, too.

Save your outrage for complaining about taxes then. Wearing a mask to go to the store isn’t stripping away your freedoms. If a business doesn’t care if you wear one, whatever. But if they ask you to, either go somewhere else or be slightly inconvenienced for a few minutes

Yes it will - works for me and everyone I know who's used it every single time. I just say "medically unable" and they say thanks and wave me right in.

Face Covering Requirements

To protect our members and employees, all Costco members and guests must wear a face covering that covers their mouth and nose at all times while at Costco. This requirement does not apply to children under the age of 2 or to individuals who are unable to wear a face covering due to a medical condition.

The first clue that someone has no idea what HIPAA says or who it binds is them spelling it HIPPA...

Not really. It will stop the spread to vulnerable people.

Everything should be open. We shouldn’t shut down the economy. Everyone wearing a mask is a good compromise.

Have any of you actually had this? I have.

Under most circumstances, it would be. But with the whole pandemic that can be mitigated by universal masking thing going on, it makes a lot more sense.

give people 6 feet of space
This part is a joke. The masks work per my experience. The 6 feet is silly. Nobody can really stay 6 feet apart and even if you are, if you walk into the cloud coughed by another 20 seconds ago, you're susceptible. If you're wearing a mask, you're not as susceptible.

The Department of Justice Warns of Inaccurate Flyers and Postings Regarding the Use of Face Masks and the Americans with Disabilities Act

Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division Eric Dreiband reiterated today that cards and other documents bearing the Department of Justice seal and claiming that individuals are exempt from face mask requirements are fraudulent.

Inaccurate flyers or other postings have been circulating on the web and via social media channels regarding the use of face masks and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of these notices included use of the Department of Justice seal and ADA phone number.

As the Department has stated in a previous alert, the Department did not issue and does not endorse them in any way. The public should not rely on the information contained in these postings.

The ADA does not provide a blanket exemption to people with disabilities from complying with legitimate safety requirements necessary for safe operations.
The public can visit ADA.gov or call the ADA Information Line at 800-514-0301 (voice) and 800-514-0383 (TTY) for more information.
