If questioned “I have a medical condition that I am not able to wear one” prove I don’t and I dont have to discuss my medical history with you per HIPPA.

Just tell them you're gay and wearing a mask impedes your gayness.

They arent going to do anything about that, there's one block the government is deathly afraid of for no good reason.

All you have to do is put it on when going into stores or establishments. People act like they have to wear them 100% of the time.

It's like service animals ... the only two questions you can legally ask a person with a service animal are:

(1) is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? and (2) what work or task has the dog been trained to perform?

(from: LINK )

People lie all the time about the little yorkies and shih tzus they carry with them because they make up the answer for the questions. So, why not lie about the mask?

Boom, and mic drop.

In the order issued in Leon County they specifically state that exemption, and it further tells retailers they can not deny access for non compliance and advises citizens to not question fellow citizens for not wearing a mask because they don't know if someone has a medical condition, and even LEO cannot demand proof if that claim is asserted.

That may not be the case everywhere, but if not, the local government is opening themselves up to a shite load of liability.

And as a personal anecdote, for the first few days, I didn't wear a mask on principle. Most folks were wearing masks, but some weren't. And there were no confrontations. I did get one odd look, but in retrospect that may have just been my mind expecting pushback. Now, I wear one, it's not a big deal if it makes others feel safer, even though after 40 years of smoking a mask does actually hinder my breathing. I have no problem making a small sacrifice if it makes my fellow citizens feel better.

Now, if I had been accosted in those first couple days by militant Karens, I'd be a no mask wearing mfer.

Wrong...still working and going about my day and haven't worn a mask other than entering the hospital to go into the NICO unit to see my grandson that was born in March 6 weeks premature and spent another 6 weeks in NICO before being released...but you keep on kneeling...
I assume you mean NICU? I don’t really know hospital lingo. I absolutely hope things are okay for your grandson and family. I’m not even sure why this is part of the argument. I damn sure would wear a mask on that situation if there was even a sliver of evidence that it prevented spread of anything, Covid or not.

Listen up asswipe, I don’t plan on kneeling for shite if I correctly think you are referring to some sports crap. I don’t watch NFL and haven’t in 10 years.

I respect the fact that some people wear or follow mask orders because they own a business, want to prevent the spread to family members and others. It’s not that big of a deal...

The 6 feet is silly. Nobody can really stay 6 feet apart and even if you are, if you walk into the cloud coughed by another 20 seconds ago, you're susceptible.

First, of course people can stay 6 feet apart. What kind of foolishness is that?

Second, of course staying six feet apart helps. Heavy droplets, that contain large viral loads, are highly unlikely to travel 6 feet or to stay afloat while you travel six feet.

This part is a joke. The masks work per my experience. The 6 feet is silly. Nobody can really stay 6 feet apart and even if you are, if you walk into the cloud coughed by another 20 seconds ago, you're susceptible.

If you’re going to choose to break the law and take a risk, that’s fine. Out of respect for your fellow citizens, you can at least make it a point to respect their personal space. I understand a cloud coughed is also a risk (one mitigated/eliminated by a mask), but obeying social distancing lowers the risk. I just don’t understand what’s hard about common sense pandemic mitigation measures. It’s rude and obnoxious.
