'I Won': TX Children's Hospital Whistleblower Nurse Reaches Historic Settlement

quote:

Under the terms of the settlement, Texas Children's Hospital is required to pay $10 million in penalties; build and operate a free Detransition Clinic to provide "full-service care" to patients who underwent sex-rejecting procedures at any hospital or clinic in the nation; issue a written statement to the public about its practices and legal obligations going forward; permanently terminate and revoke the privileges of five physicians who carried out the procedures and never re-hire or credential them; implement operational reforms including training on the dangers of sex-rejecting treatments and procedures including whistleblower training; rewrite institutional by-laws so anyone performing those procedures loses clinical privileges, and commit to a permanent prohibition on sex-rejecting services at all facilities.

This is not any kind of financial win against them. Besides it being great to take responsibility for mutilation of mentally ill people, its just throwing a bone. Chump change.

It isn’t the money - it’s the other things in the list that make it an arse kicking.

It's by far the most effective strategy against the trans social contagion, at least in red states and when the GOP is in control of DOJ.

Trans "treatment" is a "golden diagnosis" which means it is highly profitable.

There needs to be criminal enforcement for the perps.

Funny. Because every leftist MSNBC lib I bring this up with and tell them they are performing gender reassignment surgeries on children, claim it is not happening and it's just MAGA "conspiracy theory."

Cases like this are why whistleblower reward claims can be worth looking into. If someone’s actions exposed serious wrongdoing, there may be more available than just the settlement itself.
