Actually what’s held the state down is the dumb fricking electorate in South LA. They elect our governors and they frick it up every single time. The past election was a glaring example.

The thing that really disheartened and disappointed me last fall was how Rispone vs Abraham turned into a proxy fight between North and South Louisiana.
Baptists vs Catholics.
Rednecks vs Cajuns.
We had a lot of common ground and we didn't need to be tearing each other up when we had a common enemy in JBE.
It's a damn shame Rispone made the election losing mistake slandering a fine man and fine conservative in Ralph Abraham as a grifting Never Trumper that votes Pelosi and steals tax dollars.
And that's a move I loudly protested from Rispone and for good reason because I understood that you just cannot piss off voters you will need later.
