I don't really blame Desantis for this in a vacuum, but Ron and his supporters act like they were bucking the system the entire time. frick that.

I still don’t see how giving local authorities increased power to make their own decisions is some kind of gotcha that Desantis was some kind of Covid tyrant, in fact the opposite could be argued.
You do realize just how different Florida is from region to region and county to county right? Miami Beach having a wall to wall party going on all night is going to be dramatically different than a diner in the big bend or in alligator alley. The forgotten coast beaches are going to look a lot different than Clearwater beach. A campground in peace river is going to look a lot different than on in Jax beach.
It wasn’t a one size fits all situation and Desantis allowed local leaders to do what they felt was best for their area. To his credit Trump did as well on a larger scale after awhile.
Again my issue is trump trying to retroactively pull a cnn and jump to a bullshite metric as some sort of gotcha. When you look at actual relevant per capita data Florida did much better than many states with far less freedoms than we had throughout the pandemic, that also do not have near the elderly/vulnerable population we do.
Nobody was perfect during Covid, Desantis included. But Trump and his followers trying to use it as gotcha is a losing proposition for them.

I live in Florida. I travel to Miami for business all the time. Went to in May of 2020, and I stayed in Miami Beach. It was all open. Not as populated but open. Enjoyed myself so much I decided to bring my family for 2 weeks in June 2020.
So I guess I am thankful I survived the carnage of the Grim Reaper

They seem to think that they can hide DeSantis record and make it only about Trump. They can't. It won't be if this continues.
Who is shitposting about the other regarding Covid? Trump or Desantis. I don’t expect an answer because it’s not convenient for you.

You are making my point.

Still making my point.

It doesn't win for anybody.

You don’t really have one. You just throw shite out leaving out information hoping to achieve a gotcha to make up for Trump continuing to step on his dick on social media.

Yet one candidate (hint: not Desantis) continues to try and shite on the other regarding their response (which was objectively better than most).

Team DeSantis is making this part of his attack on Trump and Trump beat him to the punch.
Literally has been happening on social media by his hired influencers and MANY of the posts here are from them.

So you admit to trump being the shite poster on an issue that doesn’t win for anyone (by your own post). That’s a great first step

Show me specifically where DeSantis is attacking Trump on COVID. I haven’t seen it. If he did, specifically attack Trump, I missed it.
I have seen DeSantis attack Fauci, mask/vaccine mandates etc. but not a a direct assault on Trumps handling of COVID. Trump has directly attacked DeSantis on COVID and also made the assertion that other Govs, specifically draconian Dems, handled it better.
It’s just weird. I don't get it. It’s tiresome.

Either this is true or false. Which is it?

No. If we are going to route of covid, nothing is going to be off the table with it.

Trump started the broken economy by bailing out states that shutdown.

States shut down.
DeSantis didn't have to take the money did he.
