I look back at the Holocaust and cannot believe how evil that was 80 years ago

in 80 years from now, people are going to look back at our history now and feel the same way about 2020-2024 like I feel about the Holocaust

This is a very weak comparison.
The holocaust was 1000x worse than what has happened in the last couple of decades. It's not even close.

Genocides were nothing new. How many people even know the Armenian Genocide happened. Turkey says it didn't. Imagine if Germany said the Holocaust didn't happen.

This is what staggers me.
All these people came from somewhere. They had names, lives, etc. the number of deaths is so high it’s hard to even shed light on one individual person.
