Agreed on everything else in your post, except for this particular line. I, personally, would submit that they’re not really thinking much at all. On average, the best they can muster is some relatively short, very simplistically worded remark about Israel. I.e. “daddy Israel.” When all else fails (which is the case nearly 100% of the time) go with “muh Israel.”

And I agree with Shapiro on almost all foreign policy issues and disagree with Walsh, who is basically a populist isolationist.

It's interesting to me that people his age and younger tend toward that polarity (at least on the right).

I chalk it up to not being old enough to personally remember the U.S.S.R. and not talking to grandparents enough about WWII.

Shapiro is an exception because he was about 40 years old when he was born.
