People, please stop using acronyms (PBD) like everyone on here just knows what this group or that group or this person or that person stands for. Don't be so lazy, type it out. Thanks.

Patrick literally calls his podcast the PBD Podcast. In this case I though "PBD" was more familiar than "Patrick Bet-David".

Anyone who doesn't know who PBD is at this point can be grouped into 1 of 2 categories: They're either profoundly out of touch with the American political landscape, or they watch cable news and that's it.

As have I. This is a perfect representation of Nick. The kid is smart. He knows there's a time and place.

It's amazing really: the kid can give a 1½ hour interview and people like you will still say, "muh, that's not actually Nick Fuentes."

We are so used to 8th grade level vocabulary that when a personality that comes along with a 12th grade level vocabulary and is able to regurgitate facts easily they stick out from the 8th grade baseline.

Sorry, let me re-write that last sentence at a 12th grade level:

We are so accustomed to an 8th-grade vocabulary that when an individual emerges with a 12th-grade lexicon and can effortlessly articulate facts, they distinctly stand out from the 8th-grade norm.

This was a general example of what there is entirely to much of. There are people from all quarters who are on this forum. Think a little more broadly if possible.

Going forward I will make every effort on this board to use less acronyms.

Not on the tRant (lol) though. Acronyms are very common on the Rant.

Nick presents an alternative view to standard US conservatism (which hasn't done much conserving) and his view point should be part of the mainstream right discourse.

No. I’m saying people who have never watched NF will see that interview and go “I don’t get it. This is the inflammatory guy?”

No. It’s not. That’s a different NF. You know this too.

I’m not even criticizing Nick. I agree with a lot that he says. And find him entertaining.

The fact that he did what we he did to Shapiro in front of his family earns a smidgen of respect with me.

I saw a clip of him talking about Shapiro that made a good point

Shapiro’s whole thing for a long time was owning the libs, not caring about feelings, college kids are coddled, frick safe spaces, etc…. Until a few Jewish kids felt uncomfortable on college campuses. Now we need to call in the national guard and sue everybody

A hypocrite of the highest order

you aren’t wrong

He’s kind of playing both sides of troll and commentator… feels like he’s going to lean more into the latter though

probably left out the part where he used to harass Shapiro and his family in public

That was brought up.

I am aware and have never listened to him longer than 30 seconds on clips so I gave it a chance because PBD is a good interviewer.

I came away still not liking him any more and won’t tune in, but I understand his fervor of being all in anti-Israel and Shapiro from his 18-20 YO years.

Considering that I understand Shapiro’s POV, I don’t blame him for trying to cancel some punk 19 YO that was being a dick.

Fuentes is a great guy. One of the few who has their head on straight and tells it like it is.

He's a professional troll that found a group to take money from.

He didn’t, not in that interview. He was frank about disagreeing with Kirk and not liking him, but he expressed admiration for him also.

NF is clearly pushing back toward the middle right now. He is either doing it because he really believes the right needs to unite and stop the snipe fighting and focus on the left, or he knows he can grow the groyphers larger and then swing hard right again and they will follow.

I know little to nothing about Fuentes, but from all appearances, if someone were to line up a bunch of podcasters and give me a sticker that said "Incel Jesus" with the instructions to label someone in the lineup... Nick Fuentes would get it.
