Thats fricking hilarious!! That is exactly what comedians are supposed to do. Take legitimate issues and frame them is a particular way, then make a joke which should cause one to not only laugh, but also take a moment and ponder ........

To me, that added to it. It gave her the sound of some purple-hair trembling with rage she's proxied from some group she considered to be "victims" of some sort of "ists". The sound along with the setup really helped that joke stick the landing for me.
