He was an approachable guy. Nice & talkative. I told him I'm conservative but Julia Letlow hasn't earned my vote yet & bc of the negative ads she did against Fleming. But I insinuated I'm not voting for him. He is pro gun but pro choice. A farmer & country guy. He will get beat probably 60-40 by Julia so I don't feel bad if I end up not voting for her as she doesn't need my vote.
The point of my post is to say even if he & I were to agree on half of all issues, if he were elected & went to DC he would do what Chuck Schumer tells him. Just like Julia Letlow will do what she is told. Things are so polarized now & it's just the reality. I think bipartisanship is good on some issues as long as conservatives aren't selling out their principles.
TLDR; Jamie Davis, nice guy but won't win which is good b/c probably has more bad policies than good. Polarization sucks.

Jamie Davis is a bullshite artist. He knows that in order to have a chance he has to give the impression that he is a good old country LA boy so disgruntled conservatives will crossover.
He is NOT pro gun. That is bullshite. He makes vague remarks and crawfishes when pressed on it. He posted a video on his Facebook where made an appeal about being pro gun but being for “common sense” gun reform (where have we heard that before?) and then went on to refer to assault weapons that can empty a whole “clip” with “one pull of the trigger.” He’s so “pro gun” based on how he keeps a bolt gun in his truck to shoot varmints on his farm and then immediately suggests, in total ignorance of how they actually function, that he does not support Americans owning the most popular rifle in the entire country.
I debated his rabid looney supporters in the comments and pointed out Jamie’s gun ignorance and lockstep narrative with the anti-gun rhetoric of the left. Within an hour or so his page pulled the video which they clearly recognized was a disaster for his phony gun narrative.
I commented on future videos asking for clarification and Jamie aka whoever runs his Facebook page responded with more vague bullshite answers. They then claimed they pulled the video because they realized it led to “confusion” regarding his position. Then when I asked very detailed and simple questions that would clarify confusion but put him on the record plainly, they refused to answer.
Don’t fall for the whole “he’s a really nice guy but” routine. He’s a bald faced liar who thinks he can manipulate naive and disgruntled conservatives. He is NOT pro gun. Any capable Republican would mop the floor with him in a debate and sadly I’m not sure Letlow could even do that.

He is a lockstep dem lying his arse off to con people into electing him.

He is actually nothing. He will vote as he’s told by the dems in DC. I do think the dems did a pretty good job choosing him. He appears to be a pretty likable guy. I think you’re right though. He will lose around 60-40.

0I could have voted for Fleming but he was a do nothing in congress and he embraced rural nutters with fake claims about CCS to get traction. May as well run as a far leftist envirowhacko.

That's what I keep telling all these Republicans butthurt over Fleming saying they are going to vote D for the first time in their life. Davis has that nice guy, aw shucks Forrest Whitaker look but he has aligned himself with the socialists, kid grooming trannies, open border hate America party and I could never vote for him no matter how nice a farmer he is.

Problem is Letlow will only do what her bank rollers want. She is certainly not conservative.

All I can ask you to do is consider what the Democrat party stands for and against in today’s day and age. I mean, they are currently borderline socialists. I’m not saying you have a great option in Letlow and the Republicans but this is not your dad’s Democrat party. Can you really relate to anything in their message?

This is how we wind up with a Dem Senator. dont be a dumbfrick. I voted for Letlow but if the other guy won I would pull that lever for him in a heartbeat.
A "did not vote" is a vote for Davis.

He’s a Dem = pure evil in my book right now.
Hasn’t always been that way, but frick them for what they are promoting.
Even the establishment is backpedaling from the DSA .
They need to wear that socialist/muslim stent like an albatross for a while.
That will get us to the new census…then they are finished.

Imagine being this southern good ole baw Jamie. His party is made up of the most ridiculous and radical clowns on planet earth. How does this good ole baw, by all accounts, square this shite in his head that he advocates for the same party that produces communists such as Omar, twinks like Talarico et al. This is the part I will never understand, how does a person with grounded southern roots rationalize this away?

This is a waste of a post. He has no chance and shouldn't.

I probably read your comments. There were only 1 or 2 guys pressing him on his 2A video in every post he made for a few weeks after that video.

Most know many will not vote for him, not because of policies but because of his heritage and background just like Kamala, c’mon man be honest

I’ve known Jamie most of my life. Matter of fact when I was on my way at to the camp last weekend I saw he was at his shop and pulled in to visit for a minute. He’s good people, a little gruff and rough around the edges, but a legitimately good and caring person. Really wish he would have ran as an I. I’m afraid the Party has started pushing him towards supporting things I’ve never known him to be in favor of before, but maybe he was and I just wasn’t aware of it. If the DNC cared about making a legit push back towards the middle and get back to some normalcy Jamie is who they would need to have on CNN every week.
That being said if there’s ever a hot mic on him or someone recording when he’s waxing eloquent he better have a good PR person handy

I worked for an agricultural consultant in the neighboring parish of Catahoula while I was in high school and a couple of years of college. Jamie Davis and his family were clients, so we spent some time on their farm. They are legitimately good people and I truly believe Jamie wants to make a positive impact. I don’t share some of his views, but I respect them.

I mean a lot of them want to to that. A lot of people go into politics with good intentions.
Problem is for some a positive impact is open borders.

All they need is a few more like-minded people.
