Aww, that's cute. You idiots want to vote for someone who will do nothing for this country. Nothing but lip service

If your life revolves around politics that much then you need to take a step back.

Also even if it does you need to have some global perspective.

George Floyd riots happened on trumps watch. COVID lockdowns happened on trumps watch.

Anyone who lived in a major metro area had a pretty crappy end to trumps presidency

But that’s why they won’t run Biden. They help Trump win the primary while damaging him with the rest of the country, then run Newsome.

Yep, it’s going to be a gigantic bait and switch.
Biden will “retire” and the DNC will put in their handpicked guy.

My family is either Trump or RFK Jr. No in-betweeners for DeSantis. And this is our entire extended family, mom's side in PA and dad's side in LA.
Me...if it's not Trump then DeSantis have my vote. No if and or buts.

I know RFK Jr have good intentions, but his party does not.

We went from being big supporters and some of us even contributed to DeSantis Gov campaign to realizing we almost got duped into voting for another WEF globalist.

Same here. My extended family has been huge Trump supporters but are voting for DeSantis as things stand right now. Debates will be important. But they’ll support whoever the Republican nominee will be in the general like most other normal people.

I also got to go spend time with my family over the long weekend in Arkansas. We don't talk politics much and aren't hardcore political people, except for my stepdad who is very conservative, Christian, right wing, etc. and was a marine - so he's incredibly convicted when it comes to his leanings and beliefs.

He and my mom, and my brother, all held their nose and voted for Trump twice. None of them particularly like(d) Trump on a personal level but they're republicans and they did what a good republican does - vote against the slimy Dems.

When politics came up for the whole 2 minutes it did this weekend, all 3 said Desantis is their clear choice. It was nice to hear some opinions that haven't been tainted by the extreme tribal digging-in that goes on here for once. Just some people that liked what their chosen candidate has actually accomplished and stands for, opposed to battling over posts, links, polls, posters, alters, etc.

I would suggest stepping away for a minute and gaining some real world perspective to everyone here that's so dug-in that they've lost sight of the real enemies

It's good to be reminded that this place isn't real life. The most vocal are almost always trolling. The ones who believe this is a battleground that can swing the election are separated from reality.

I don't know a single Republican that hates DeSantis or thinks he's destroying anything. Most are extremely open to voting for him.

As other people have indicated, Trump's lead is a mile wide and an inch deep. Most people aren't actively engaged enough right now to have strong opinions. So when they're polled it's a reflex to just say Trump.

Even most of the people here are strangely uninformed. They seem to get their news from this message board.

His family is genetically inferior with regards to decision making because the more conservative candidate is gaining popularity among them?

You guys always remind me of my favorite paragraph explaining why Trump lost in 2020.

quote:

What went wrong?

To begin with, the Trump activists absorbed the worst aspects of their leader. Not his business savvy or his ability to look good on TV. No, they assimilated his ugly side—his love of insults and trolling, and his strategy of dealing with internecine squabbles by employing personal attacks against real or imagined foes (“Ted Cruz? Your wife’s ugly. I win”). Trolling will only get you just so far. Trump didn’t win because of his insults, he won because of his agenda.

They’re always projecting and gaslighting. Accusing you of what they’re doing just like they did before they pretended to be Desantis supporters.

No, they have genetically inferior decision making because they are all switching as a family to a deep state guy losing ground in the polls DAILY. Kind of goofy.
