How is NATO threatening? Was there a buildup of NATO troops on the border with Russia? Were there secret plans that got leaked, talking about how NATO, or the West are coming after Moscow?
Are we not doing that same exact thing with China as well? So why aren’t you crying about how we need to cool it in the South China Sea, at the risk of a confrontation with a nuclear power? Or what about North Korea? Why don’t you talk about how we need to cool it there too, because like you said, history says do not confront a nuclear power, and NK is a nuclear power.
Yeah. Well Poland is kind of the ones leading the charge in Europe against Russia, so I’m not sure what your point here is. Poland is taking no chances and they aren’t going to subject themselves to Russian demands. You obviously have zero understanding of the Polish people, or government, especially when you’re talking about an interview from 2021. A lot has changed since and opinions have also changed.
I think the more dangerous and reckless action or mindset, is by threatening the use of nukes. That’s an extremely careless thing to do.
And I’m sure any US military, air defense system, or whoever, isn’t taking these threats with a grain of salt. US citizens may think Putin is just saber rattling, but you know damn well the US military is always ready for this possibility, and can’t afford to think of this as just saber rattling.
Who’s saying this? I for one never have. The goal is to reduce the US’s influence and power in Europe, particularly in areas that have historically been closer aligned to Russia. Putin wants Russia to be able to project power like the US has for the past 80 years.

Russia invaded Ukraine 2.5 years ago. If this were solely about Ukraine defending itself, then why was the use of long-range missiles not authorized within the first weeks of the war instead of 2.5 years into the war?
With the incoming administration already talking about peace agreements, it is a little suspicious when the outgoing administration suddenly authorizes weapon use that will clearly escalate the war.

Your definition of ITSELF is different than mine. The only thing they are doing by ITSELF is burning through ammo supplied by the US and other countries and getting the Ukrainian citizens killed for no reason. They are also pretty good at stealing the money supplied by the US to run the country.
