I have a quiet envy of religious people

Only one of those religions promotes peace

Accept him as your savior. And then have a personal relationship with him. And you too, can have that sense of security.

You can have it as well.

I know what I believe is right — that said I’m not always at peace during these recent times. But I’m working on it.

I believe in God in a Deist sort of way.

I vociferously argue against the idea that the universe (and humanity) is just the result of pure chance/randomness. The odds of a Supreme Being being involved are infinitely better than a "big bang."

But I have seen too much shite (historically and contemporaneously) to think He's actively involved today.

He set the board and put the pieces in motion and has left i to us to work it out. He gave us a reset about 2000 years ago and now we're on our own.

Sharing the message that God already loves the non-believers and is just waiting to hear from them, via a simple conversation (prayer), is everything.

I have problems with religion on a regular, long term basis. But still, I admit to taking comfort in the unseen, unprovable, untouchable power I can just tell exist. God. I can’t explain it but I know there’s more than this realm and what I am is just attached to this physical......body I guess. As much as I doubt sometimes, as irritated as organized religion can make me, I still believe. I don’t discuss this often because of the offense some religious people will take. Or the militant anti-religious crowd who just like to sound like Mensa members and fight about it. (That’s your cue boys. Fire away. I’m indifferent to arguing with you). Just be happy as you can be I guess dude. You sound like someone who can find an answer.

All scenarios for how an infinite universe came into existence are wild. Fact is it happened. Coupled with the spiritual presence we all share, something more than physics is at play.

What harm is there to pray to god, in the name of Jesus, and ask him to reveal the answers to you? In his infinite wisdom he should, unless you’re not truly willing. He’s a gentleman, nothing forced.

Worse case scenario nothing happens. The likely scenario is a seed will be planted and he will show you in the things and people around you.

If you envy the peace, why not start with the unknown. You can’t intellect everything into your life, some things are mysteries. Life is a journey, there are unknowns, sometimes you have to walk down the path to see what’s at the end.
